REVIEW:
Nigel is a mess. He was attacked by a bunch of rogue vampires who were too fast for him to escape. He wished for death. Instead he was force fed vampire blood. He tried to return to his pack, but the bloodlust made it too difficult – so he’s just been running. Surviving on wild game. But the thirst! Then he comes across a scent that can’t be ignored.
Charlie comes into the local tavern and is hit like a thunderclap! MATE! He’s intrigued because the object of his desire is clearly vampire. But also wolf? Charlie tries to talk to him and Nigel admits he’s there because of Charlie, but he would be very bad for Charlie, so he runs. But Charlie is an ace tracker, so he finds Nigel.
Nigel explains. And things are complicated! But Charlie is stubborn and he’s not giving up 😉
This is a very quick and spicy read! I loved Nigel and Charlie. I really loved Charlie’s mom and his whole pack. There is a badassery and Charlie and Nigel are willing to fight for each other. If you’re looking for a fated mates story with some action and spice, this is your story. Recommended.
