Rivi: I’ve known I’m a little for a long time but never acted on it.
I’m far too shy to go looking for daddies, even online. Dating sites are untrustworthy. Besides, who would want me? I’m too small, annoyingly quiet and I wear awful, thick glasses that make my eyes look too big. No one would glance my way even if I did get up the courage to go to a club or gay bar.
But then I find out my uncle, Trent Winterbourne, owns a large kink club and has a little for a significant other. How did I never know this before? Uncle Trent is having a huge but very private Christmas party at his country estate in the middle of a Christmas tree farm. This man must know lots of daddies.
If I do anything right with my life from now on, I need to wrangle an invitation to stay with my uncle through the holidays. Maybe then I can finally begin the hunt for my one true daddy.
Briar: I’m an experienced dom and daddy but I’ve lost my fire in the past year or so. I work at a kink club and night after night it’s the same thing. Am I bored? Do I need change in my life?
These days, I focus mainly on work, until my friend Trent Winterbourne invites me to his estate for the Christmas holidays. There will be mostly kink “family” members there, and an exclusive kink party in his secret BDSM basement.
There, I meet Rivi, and my life is never the same again.
MM romance, daddy/little, holiday, Christmas, first time, size difference, cute onesies, age play, age gap, sweet HEA.
Note: Trent Winterbourne is a recurring character in my Little Mister Perfect series and was first introduced in A Little Christmas: Ozzy’s Secret and also appears in A Little Christmas: Kit and A Daddy for Maddy.
REVIEW:
A wonderful Christmas treat filled with joy viewed through the eyes of a brand-new Little and his new caring Daddy.
Rivi knows what a Little is and has known that he is one for awhile. But knowing and acting on it is two completely different things. While bravely venturing out to buy himself a few things for his little-side at an Adult store, he accidentally discovers that his Uncle Trent (actually his second cousin but has always been his father figure all his life) owns a very popular kink club. He also learns that Trent hosts a very exclusive invitation-only Christmas event at his country estate. So, continuing on in his new found bravery, he calls his Uncle Trent, confesses that he is not only gay but also a little, and wants to come spend the holidays with him. Trent can never say no to his dear, sweet Rivi and allows him to come. But how can he control what happens to the boy he loves like his own son.
I have not read any of the previous Trent Winterbourne books so I didn’t have any knowledge of the Little’s stories before this book. But two things were glaringly obvious:
- Trent Winterbourne was extremely over-protective of his much younger second-cousin Rivi.
- Ozzy and his friends welcomed Rivi as soon as they got to know him and included him in their Littles group.
Although Trent was over-the-top protecting Rivi and knew he could never say no to the smaller young man, Briar finally got through to his dear friend that he honestly cared for Rivi and Rivi deserved to be treated as the adult he is. Once that finally was settled I enjoyed the book much better. I am wondering if I would have viewed this differently if I knew Trent from the previous books I hadn’t read?
I loved that Briar and Trent are good friends and trust each other. I did question why Trent would prefer someone younger and unknown over his friend for Rivi. I get that there is an age-gap and they had played hard together when they were much younger. But they had mellowed in age and were looking for different things than what they desired back then. Heck, Trent is also older than his fiancé/little Ozzy too. And having Briar guarantee that he understood who Rivi was and what he needs should have been fine. Thankful Trent finally got that. I think it would have been much more dangerous for Rivi if the former had happened. He can to Trent for safety to explore his kink. Briar guaranteed that safety.
Briar gentleness and encouragement was what made this book perfect. He encouraged Rivi to explore and ask questions. He was always open and honest with him. And you could tell that he was falling fast for his boy. Because Rivi is his boy through and through. They were perfect together.
I love Christmas books and this one definitely lit up my Christmas spirit!
