Sexy and fun novella with a lot of tentacles!
Landon just wants to get a run in before the fall weather takes a turn. It’s literally only October but winter seems eager this year. But loosing track of time and how far he has run has turned into a colossal misjudgment. He’s too far away from his home to make it back safely and this snow storm is happening right now!!! So his only choice to to run to his nearest neighbors home just up ahead. But he doesn’t know his neighbor. He has only seen the sexy man naked by accident at the river. How awkward is that???
Landon set out on his run without knowing that inclement weather was eminent. When he finally figured it out he was in big time trouble. Dressed only in light running clothes, he barely made it to Jett’s backdoor before he became a shifter Popsicle! Little did either know, until that moment, that they had a shifter living right next door and they were safe with each other and their secrets.
We have all heard of blowjobs in romance novels. And it’s basically a given in gay romance. However, I can honestly say, in all my years of reviewing, that I have never heard of tentacles being deep throated before. And I had no idea whatsoever about oviposition. Or that an alpha male could be impregnated with eggs from an octopus. This all completely blew my mind. I’m still reeling from it.
I loved how caring Landon’s two Dads were. They obviously loved their only son and were there for him when he needed them. They would do anything for their son. And the connection between Landon and Jett worked for me from the very start. Darn pheromones must have worked better than I thought because I was totally invested in their relationship and future too!
This was a sweet, fast read with all the feels that is a perfect read on a cold winter’s night. 🐙
