BLURB:

Sloan and his brothers have been happy to live off the grid in the human realm, fighting the forces who would hurt dragons and other paranormal creatures. They never stay in one place too long, so it’s no surprise that things change every time they come back around to familiar places. When they visit their friend Myk’s house in the Colorado mountains, though, they find a whole new world. Literally.

When dragon realm beekeeper Tyr meets Sloan, he knows he’s found his mate for life. But Sloan must work to get both of his brothers to agree to cross the veil and leave everything they know behind. Tyr is worried neither of them will survive until Sloan’s family agrees. And even when Sloan joins him in his world, it’s not the end of their troubles.

Between Tyr’s bees, Sloan’s family woes, and a danger from outside that threatens the children of their village and of Tyr’s family, their road to love is far from easy. Can Sloan find a way to protect everyone, and can Tyr manage to keep his bees and their world together in their shared hive, all while starting a family of their own?

This is an mpreg mm romance set in the Dragon Veil universe in the dragon realm of Lunastra.

REVIEW:

I’m thrilled that we are now getting Cade’s bestie Tyr,  the bee keeper’s, story.

Sloan and his two brothers, Brayden and Riley, are dragon vampire hunters. They have stopped by their friends, Luuk, Jon and Myk, home but they aren’t there and it has changed a lot. When a huge beaver-shifter tells them that they need to go they insist on seeing their friends. But they encounter very colorful triplet guardians of the veil. The home had become a portal to the other side. When they finally get to speak to Myk, in the conservatory where windows have been placed so those in the veil can speak to those in the human realm, they learn of his tragedy. And Sloan discovers Myk’s friend Tyr, the bee keeper and his mate! But Sloan refuses to crossover without his brothers. When an emergency arises Sloan knows the time has come and must go to join his mate in Lunastra. His brother’s come shortly after. Life is good until an encounter along the river shakes Sloan to the core. Are they actually safe here? And more importantly are the children, including their soon-to-be born daughter safe???

I loved Cade and Poe’s story and have been eagerly awaiting Cade’s bestie Tyr, the village beekeeper, story. Tyr is literally one with his amazing bees. They are joined and he makes sure they are tended to and protected. And Sloan is the perfect mate for Tyr. It is obvious that Sloan loves Tyr and is very protective of those he loves and are close to him. Join Cade to help protect Lunastra was the perfect job for him.

I loved that the brothers were so close and stuck together. I know it was really hard for Brayden and Sloan to let their youngest brother go off to play Awak, a sport, and be separated for the first time. I am very curious about Brayden and Tyr’s other bestie, Harden, who tends the animals in Lunastra. I think Cade and Tyr are right in their musings.

I love how the bartering works here. You need something and another villager needs something so you trade. It was such a wonderful system that worked so well.

This book is part of the entire Bridal Veil universe. I love this book and series. And am so thankful to have found this whole interlocking universe that is slowly tying all these series together.
