Amir started by tracing a pattern of oil across Oliver’s shoulders. Its scent permeated the room.
“Cinnamon.” Oliver laughed again. “I’m sensing a theme.”
“It’s not just the properties you ingest from the tea that helps. It’s the smell.” He began working his fingers up either side of Oliver’s spine from the place where the blanket ended. He inhaled, as comforted, he hoped, as Oliver. He closed his eyes and lost himself in the kneading of tension-bearing muscles. He was halfway to forgetting that he was working on someone he desired when Oliver spoke.
His voice was rough with need. “If you don’t get to my neck soon, I’m going to embarrass myself and make a mess of your sheets.”
Amir slipped his fingers, pleasantly hot, under Oliver’s hair and began seeking out the tension he’d been told lived in these muscles. He found none.
Instead, Oliver turned his head, reached up, and caught one of Amir’s hands. He nipped Amir’s index finger. “I want you.”
Before Amir could make up his mind if the raging hard-on he was dealing with should be ignored or somehow helped, Oliver nipped his finger again. Amir loosed a full-throated groan.
“We’re not making love in the conventional way today,” Oliver said softly but firmly. “We’re both too excited. It needs to be slow and careful, and I can’t do that right now. Unless you want to be inside me?”
“I’m afraid I’ll hurt you.”
“I doubt you could, not the way I’m feeling just now, but I wouldn’t ask you to do anything that would make you uncomfortable.” He rolled over onto his back, kicking off the blanket. “Will you lie down with me and we can make love as we did earlier?”
Amir started to lay down, but then he realized he was still fully clothed. “Give me a minute.” And then, as Oliver watched, his eyes looking hungry, he began to take his clothing off. He went for his shirt buttons first, those on his cuffs and then those down his front. By the time he had the shirt off, Oliver was idly toying with his own balls and licking his lips.
Amir all but ripped off the rest of his clothes, kicking off his shoes and yanking off pants and boxers together. Before he could touch himself in response to Oliver’s playing, Oliver laughed.
“If you do that, you’ll be sorry. You have muscle-relaxing oil on your hands still. Go ahead and wash it off. I’ll wait.”
