I cracked jokes when I was nervous—but freaking excuse me. My whole future was on the line. The battlefield was literally on fire, and then shots blasted through the air, and I looked at Bo and felt horror draining my face of color.
REVIEW:
How does Cara Dee do it! This follow up after Unmade was even tighter on the tension front, loads of action packed in and Bo and Leighton setting fire to every page with the natural chemistry they share. I missed seeing the twins but I loved seeing the Quinns. Hehe that rhymes.
This story takes off right where Unmade left off so it cannot be read as a stand alone. We see the ops plot develop further, the recruits training and graduation and the romance between Bo and Leighton gets dialled up to a ten as they sharply march towards an HEA, single minded progression no looking back.
As usual Cara Dee’s signature themes of found family, stellar banter and high octane chemistry with a smidge of kink thrown in just hits all the right spots. If you havnt started this series I seriously recommend you do, it’s exception for those who love a fast paced action packed romance.
