In the rough and tumble world of New York City, these men don’t mind getting down and dirty—in business or each other.
It isn’t every day a gorgeous stranger shows up in my bedroom wearing not much more than an arrogant smile. When I discover he’s a high-priced escort and a surprise birthday present from my sister…now she’s gone too far.
Except I haven’t been able to stop kissing him long enough to tell him to leave.
No one has to know he’s spent the night. And when we’re done, he’s gone and out the door. Never to be seen again.
Well, not exactly.
Because for some crazy reason, I can’t quite forget Archer Strong.
It’s a job like all the others. Another evening of million-dollar seduction and fake desire that’s made me the most exclusive escort in New York City.
But after one kiss from billionaire real-estate mogul Madden Steele, I’m not pretending anything.
And when he wants to see me a second time, I break my rule of one and done.
Because just one night with Madden isn’t enough. I want to see him again.
And again.
Now he’s asking for something more. Something that could solve all my problems, and his. But it’s something I can’t give him.
Or can I?
With an enemy from inside Madden’s family scheming to take control of his company and destroy me, we’re in for a fight. Holding on to each other might be the biggest risk of our lives, but it’s the only way to reap the greatest reward—love.
From Lambda Literary Award-winning author Felice Stevens comes a passionate story of two men fighting the demons of their past and unexpected desire for each other. Expect steamy encounters, backstabbing relatives, lots of cuddling and junk food in bed.
REVIEW:
After reading Not That Guy I literally begged for this book! I needed to know all about Brenner’s good friend Christine, her best friend Archer and his husband Madden. Boy was this a wild ride and great book!
What do the most eligible billionaire gay bachelor in NYC and one of the highest paid gay male escorts in the city have in common? Way more than anyone would think! When Madden Steele’s older sister decides to send her broody and over-worked brother a rather unorthodox 30th Birthday present it could go way different ways. But the sinfully gorgeous Archer Strong is a forbidden fruit just to tasty to ignore. And the NDA guarantees a night of fun. But can it be only Just One Night for these two men that need each other like their next breathe?
WOW! Just Wow!!! This book hit me hard right in the feels. Take one young man that father’s bad choices literally only left him one choice…sell his body to the elite in NYC to pay for his mother expensive health care. A woman who suffers from crippling anxiety complicated by his father’s sudden and horrible death. Take another man, with all the wealth in the world but grieving from his father’s death, being abandoned by his mother in his teens, his ex-fiancé’s deceit and his greedy aunt and uncle. At least Madden had his big sister Tricia and her husband backing him up and loving him. And Archer had his bestie Christine beside him. But what those men truly needed was each other. The chemistry between them was scorching. But the tender caring that both men developed for each other was what made this book. Together nothing could stop them. Not even a scandal that rockets through the gossip rags. Nor an evil and greedy aunt!
I love that these men are now deeply embraced in a found family that not only loves them but accepts them totally.
I am so thankful that I got to read this amazing story. Not That Guy now makes more sense why Christine, Archer and Madden were major part of that story.
