Can I have both—the title and the guy?

After a scandal, starting college in Massachusetts is my fresh start. With an ocean between me and the palace in The Netherlands, this is the chance to be just Floris instead of the first openly gay prince in Europe.

College life in America appeals to me…including my roommate, Orson. He’s cute as a bug in an adorkable way, but also serious and focused, his head permanently in a book. But behind his glasses, there is a sparkle in his gorgeous eyes, and I want to get to know him.

When I manage to break through his walls, we discover we have more in common than we thought, and we become friends. I’m convinced that’s all there could ever be, but when an emergency brings us closer, the chemistry between us heats up.

But I’m a prince with all the expectations my position brings, and he’s determined to realize his own dreams, so where does that leave us? He knows my real identity, but we’re from such different worlds.

Can I really have it all? The royal life and the boy next door?

Perfect for fans of Casey McQuiston, Alexis Hall and Jax Calder!

REVIEW:

Floris, is the Dutch prince, charming, outgoing, and witty.

Orson is Floris’ roommate, an analytical and meticulous engineering student.

I absolutely loved this book! What could be better than a real live Prince being dropped in your college dorm room? How about a Prince that just wants to experience life as a commoner hidden away in a small prestigious university half way around the world. And has a crush on geeky you?

I truly enjoyed that we got to see Prince Floris Willem Maurits van Oranje Nassau become Floris van Oranje, simple college student that was studying abroad in America. That he was getting to do regular college stuff that students don’t realize they get to do. And I loved that he brought Orson out of his self-constructed walls and helped him explore both everything around them and himself.

I have to say that the morning after Floris and Orson’s first night together, and that walk of shame breakfast with Orson’s mom and sister was freaking priceless. I literally had tears running down my face from laughter after reading that scene. Diana literally stole the scene at Orson’s shear terror of embarrassment and expense.

I can so totally see this book becoming one of those Amazon movies like “Red, White and Royal Blue” but this one will be even better. Because they can sneak off and be normal college kids for a bit. Not having every moment under a microscope. It will be awesome!

This story was totally believable and I fell for these wonderful men. I loved that Floris was able to coax Orson to take a moment and live! Because I agree with Floris, Orson’s Mom Diana and his younger sister Tia…Orson’s Dad did not save him during that tragic and that scary moment to have him just live his life to make up for him saving him. His Dad died saving him so he could have a life full of love and doing what he enjoyed best.

Great book that will have you cracking up one moment and swooning the next! A Must-Read!!!
