It started with a contract.
I’d express my milk for what I thought was a family in need.
No names. No questions. No strings.
Just a big check.
Then I found out the truth.
The man buying my milk isn’t a stranger.
He’s someone I know.
Someone who’s been doing things to me without my knowledge.
And he doesn’t just want my milk.
He wants all of me.
REVIEW:
Okay, so I have discovered recently that I enjoyed a bit of a male lactation kink genre. Who knew? 🤣 And I have enjoyed my fair share of monster kink this last year or so. Plus I really enjoy paranormal books. So this book hit a lot of my likes.
Flynn has a big problem. After being a surrogate for a couple, he can’t get his milk flow to back off a year later. He’s been being a wet nurse at the local hospital but he really needs to get back to his previous life and leaking milk all over the books in his library job doesn’t work. When a chance accidental meeting, on his train ride back home, with a huge Alpha leads to a prospective date he worries that his constant leaking will ruin everything. Little does he know that his milk is a very strong draw for Seth.
Gianni Holmes doesn’t back down from the gritty and dark side of people’s fantasies. The grittier and darker the better in some of her series. But she writes in such a way that draws you in and helps you understand what drives characters to their darkest fantasies. Acting out your books you read isn’t anything new and she built on that premise.
“I liked both characters but I was deeply put off by the level of deceit that Seth used at his home. I know he thought that he would never have a chance with the sweet, shy omega. But what he did was wrong on all levels. It was a deep violation of Flynn that I wasn’t sure I could forgive him for. I get why Flynn reacted the way he did. It was shocking and intrusive. And his trust was shattered by the large Alpha. But I also get that these two men had started to develop deep feeling for each other and then Seth was backed way into a corner that had no way out. But being rich doesn’t mean that you get to do very illegal things. And poor Flynn was trying to make things right for his new lover. I’m glad things came full circle and each man could eventually explore their fantasies. They really are true mates in every sense of the word. And, when they finally talked, it started to work for me again. But there were moments when I wasn’t sure I could get past the violations.”
I am a fan of omegaverse and have “give me hands” the moment I know a new one is coming. Including MPREG is a plus. So grabbing for this book was a no-brainer. What I didn’t expect was how dark this book would go. So, if you love The Lactation Brotherhood books that I recommended, please note that this book is nothing like that except for male lactation kink.
The only reason I did not give this book five stars was because the author not warning readers of the non-con and dubious consent before you bought the book. I truly believe that a reader needs to be given a warning before they make the purchase so they know exactly what they are buying. This book was wonderfully written and the ending was perfect. But I think readers deserve to make that decision before they hit the purchase button.
