REVIEW:
Yay we are back with the Marian’s and not just with them, we are also with Sherriff Foster Blake, Waylon’s cousin from Marrying Mr. Majestic (The Billionaire Brotherhood book 2). Don’t worry if you haven’t read any of the prior books any in jokes are fully explained. You will still enjoy this one.
Tommy Marian is straight and on his way to a tropical island for his wedding when he meets Foster Blake. When Foster’s ex turns up Tommy feels obliged to help him out and pretends to be his boyfriend. When that one kiss that should never have happened became two kisses that should never of have happened, happens his world is forever changed.
When Tommy Marian kisses Foster Blake, Fosters world is forever changed. After 6 months of throwing at darts of a picture of the man, he is horrified to find out he is going to have share a cabin with him for 8 weeks. After all Tommy is straight and married, isn’t he?
This is a well written, enjoyable book, featuring large families, drama, misunderstandings and everything else I have come to expect from and love about a Lucy Lennox book.
I am going to reiterate Lucy’s comment from the author’s note section because if like me you normally don’t read them you will drive yourself mad with the timelines. The timelines do not work, they are not intended to work, there is no pretence that they work, just go with it. You won’t regret it.
Tommy is Pete & Ginger’s son who we first meet as a newborn in Grounding Griffin.
I quite like it when series’ that I have enjoyed but have ended come together to create a whole new series Especially when, as in this book, we get to catch up characters we have already fallen in love with 😊. We get to see Waylon as a happily married man, Tilly and the Marian clan being as interfering, loving and loud as ever. It’s like coming to one of my fictional homes. I am really looking forward to the next one. I also feel like a re-read of all the original books might be in my future.
