Breathe with Intention, Love without hesitation
Azrael –
He knows what he wants.
The one thing he’s never questioned was the fact that he loves Real.
But, Real thinks it’s hero worship on his part, but he is so very wrong.
Azreal can’t breathe when Real’s next to him and he can’t breathe when they are apart…for two very different reasons. It’s love without a shadow of doubt, and somehow Azrael needs to find a way to get Real to give them a chance.
But as time goes by, Real isn’t budging and Azrael is losing hope.
Real –
He saved Azrael from the streets of San Bernadino. He gave the young assassin a sounding board to vent.
Real helped mold Azrael into the young assassin he is today.
So now, Azrael looks up to him.
And there’s no way in hell Real would take advantage of that.
The only thing he can do is make sure Azrael is safe.
If he can watch Azrael from afar, then maybe just maybe he can breathe.
REVIEW:
A new spinoff from Ms. Reese Knightley, Genesis – Savage Warriors, originating from Erebus Assassins which as we know is a group of Assassins whose job is to eliminate those people who are so bad, there are no other recourse but to take them out for good. But they do this when all other options have been used up and these bad people have eluded the justice system one too many times.
While they were eliminating the underground organization of Solomon, the once head of the Erebus Assassins, they found out that he was the one who kidnapped kids from the streets, imprisoned them and honed them to become assassins, for his own purpose. Among these young Assassins are Azrael, Apollo, Cash, Boston, and Rebel. Ultimately they were saved by the Erebus Assassins and given a new chance at life. Azrael’s twin brother, Apollo, and their best friend, Cash, decided to choose going to the university rather than continue to train as Assassins, while Azrael decided to continue on being an Assassin.
The particular Assassin who saved Azrael was Real, a hardened former Military Assassin, and for a reason, the young Azrael has wormed his way into Real’s heart and mind. He was the one who talked to Azrael those first few days after being saved and while living in Dave’s house. They talked and he stayed with the young man as often as he can. So he thinks it was but natural that Azrael would develop some kind of hero worship for him seeing as to what they have gone through. But Azrael doesn’t think so, he is truly attracted to the older Real, the age factor doesn’t really matter to him. He feels what he feels. So when Real doesn’t return what he feels, he decided that it was time to move on.
Meanwhile Azrael has been brainstorming an idea with Boston and Rebel, and that is to find those young assassins trained by Solomon and bring them in, give them a new path to follow, but this time, under the umbrella of Erebus and under the protection of Dave, the former Secretary of Defense. When Azrael started earning money from the jobs assigned to him, he rented out a cabin of sorts which will be the home base for the YA, Young Assassins, that he is trying to form together with Boston and Rebel. So when he is not out doing a job, he is out looking for those other young assassins to bring them in.
Unbeknownst to Azrael, Real keeps tabs on him, and Dave is really backing him up while he is forming this young group. They know where the home base is and in fact the house Azrael is renting is sort of one Dave owns among several others in that area.
Real for his part cannot keep on denying to himself that he is not attracted to the young man, because he is. And although the age part is something that is glaringly clear to him, it is becoming less and less of a factor. All he wants now is to be able to hold Azrael and keep him safe with him always.
But someone is out to kill Real, the brother of Tanis who Real killed while they were eliminating those working with Solomon in kidnapping kids from the streets. And they have to catch these guys before any more of their family gets hurt. Apollo and Cash were already attacked at school because of this.
Another bestseller from Ms. Reese Knightley that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Congratulations Ms. Knightley! If you are looking for a series of brave men who will do everything they can to save people from those who are doing heinous crimes then you should definitely check out this series. And although there are a few series to go through, you will definitely love them as they are well-written and full of action and love.
