Fighting fires is his passion, but he’s no match for the rock star who sets his heart ablaze.

Conor Holliston has everything he needs in life: a supportive family, three lifelong best friends, a rewarding job as a firefighter, and a love of adventure. What he doesn’t need is some big-time rock star with electric blue eyes and a breath-catching smile coming to his quaint New Hampshire town and flipping it on its side.

Dallas Blade thought he had everything in life: an amazing career fronting an internationally renowned rock band, traveling all over the world, meeting thousands of fans, and no two days the same. Until fate took a sharp turn, and he discovered he had a teenage daughter who needed him and a career at a crossroads.

Fire brings Conor and Dallas together, but are the embers hot enough to keep burning when their worlds are as different as night and day?

Love Songs features a carefree firefighter suffering from pesky feelings for a rock star who’d suddenly become a single dad, lifelong best friends, a charming small town where everyone knows everyone’s business, and the best truffles known to humankind.

REVIEW:

I had the pleasure of reading the first two books in this series also. I absolutely love these 4 best of friends and the small town they live in.

After reading Sam and Haiden getting their happy endings it was time for Conor to get his story out there.

It was hinted a little bit who his love interest would be but how lovely was it to read how Conor and Dallas story came to be.

It was nice to read Conor  with his love and passion for his job, and same to read the background on Dallas about his voice and as mentioned in the blurb an unexpected daughter.

One of the best things in these books is the parts when the friends (with or without their significant others) come together. I love the interaction the banter and the love between them.

Despite the odds that might be against them, with coming from completely different worlds, you as a reader definitely feel the need and urge for them to get to the point they both want to be.

With a lovely twist involving a house (no not saying more) it brought the whole story perfectly together.

The story is wonderful, the writing great as expected, this is author L.C. Chase at her best.

And can I just make a small mention. I would love to read Kirk getting his story, hopefully with some glimpses of Dallas and Conor.

It was a joy to read this story as I read it in one go 😊
