How could you not fall in love with this book? Theo and Adrian are perfect together 💕
Adrian DeLuca is a college hockey star at Brynn U that is drop dead gorgeous, sweet as can be. He is also the caring and loving brother to his little brother Felix, that he has raised since his parent’s deaths. He is, in addition, out and proud of who he is. But he does have one well kept secret…he wants a Daddy to take care of him and believe he is special. He also has idolized former NHL star Theo Walsh forever. Heck, Theo is the one that lead him to know he was gay. So when Adrian happens upon Theo, on break at the local bar he is working at, he literally falls to his knees in front of him. But the media has portrayed him as a party-boy even though it is so far from the truth. When his coach suggests that he enter into a fake relationship and his brother encourages Adrian and Theo they would be perfect to clean up his image before he graduates what else can they do?
There was never anything fake between these two men. And when their relationship turns physical the pages are almost burning on fire with the dirty play and talk! 🔥🔥🔥 Wow, that was pleasantly unexpected and just plain hot!!!
I loved all the little hints to their past interactions that Theo had no clue to. Or how much of an influence he had been in Adrian’s formative years after his father’s unexpected death. Theo is who Adrian formed himself to be and he did it in spades. He idolized his hockey hero and pushed himself to be as good as his hero. But Theo realizes that the boy is even better than he ever hoped to achieve and is a star in his own rights. But it’s the boy inside the man, the submissive boy that seeks love and care, that drew him to the college star.
I loved that Felix was the instigator to get these two to fake date. He knew, when he recognized Theo from Clutch, that he was a Daddy. And he also knew that his brother desired a daddy of his own, although he didn’t age regress like Felix. And he knew that this was real so encouraging the two to fake date would lead to a committed and loving relationship because they were always destine to be together! If this was a paranormal book I would immediately say that they were fated mates. But I do believe that they had always been fated to be together since their very first meeting. And the last paragraphs of this book cemented that for me!
Nw I can’t wait for Felix’s story, because he deserves his perfect and special daddy too. Because that jerk Jared definitely wasn’t it and they all knew it! Thankfully it will be here very soon 💕
