A forbidden student-teacher obsession.

A queer coming-of-age thriller.

A story that lingers like a bruise you can’t stop touching.

Blurb

Liam is just trying to finish high school and keep his secrets to himself. Mr. Hilton, his English teacher, is everything Liam shouldn’t want—straight, married, and way off-limits—but possibly…interested. What starts as an innocent crush blurs into something more real, more intense, and more dangerous than either of them can control.

Because some lines should not be crossed. Some lessons can’t be unlearned. And some desires come at a terrible price.

The Teacher Inside Me is an emotionally charged LGBTQ+ psychological thriller about longing, power, and the darkness within us all.

Originally racking up 2.6 million reads by a global audience on Wattpad before it was banned, this newly revised and completely uncensored edition invites you back into the shadows—rawer, deeper, and more haunting than ever.

This is the book they tried to bury—but The Teacher Inside Me is too disruptive to ever disappear.

In the hallway, kids drag their feet as they head to their next class. It’s the post-lunch slog. I stop suddenly when I see Mr. Hilton at the end of the hallway. He has his head down, texting. Halfway down the hall, he turns and pushes open the door to the restroom. This is a student restroom, and the teachers have their own in the back offices, but I’ve seen some teachers—the male ones—use these so that they don’t have to cross all the way to the other side of campus. I don’t know what comes over me, but I hurry down the hall, and before I can think of how dumb I’m acting I’m suddenly in the restroom.

There are three urinals. Mr. Hilton is at the first one, the one closest to the door. An emo boy is at the third one, the one closest to the sinks. The middle one is free.

I move to the middle urinal, unzip my pants, and pretend to pee. The emo boy finishes, zips up, flushes, washes his hands, and leaves Mr. Hilton and me alone. Even though the urinals are so close and don’t have partitions, it doesn’t feel weird peeing next to people when there are three of you there. But when it’s just you and someone right next to you, it feels super awkward. Since I’m not really peeing, I’m not making any sounds, so I wonder if he can tell I’m faking it. I just keep my head down.

“Oh, hey, Liam.”

My heart feels like it drops down into the pit of my stomach. I tilt my head up and then slightly towards Mr. Hilton. He’s still standing there peeing, but now he’s looking at me.

“Hi,” I manage to say.

“I didn’t notice you there. You have a good lunch?”

“Yeah.”

“Good.” Mr. Hilton turns away from me and looks back down.

I face front again, but I watch him out of the corner of my eye.

He finishes. He shakes. And before he zips up, he leans back a little. I don’t know if it’s on purpose or not. Probably not. It makes sense to lean back. If you have to tuck yourself back into your underwear and zip up and secure your belt and everything, you need a little room. You need to lean back just enough. So he does. And when he does, I can see what I’m not supposed to be seeing. I feel excited and panicked at the same time. In the privacy of my bedroom, I’ve imagined what Mr. Hilton’s c**k would look like, what he had to work with, but to see it in real life, up close like this, thicker than what I had pictured in my head—I can’t believe this is actually happening.

He zips up, flushes, washes his hands. “See you later.”

I turn towards the sinks. He’s looking right at me. I say, “Yeah.”

And before he turns back to the mirror in front of him so that he can check his hair before he goes, I notice his eyes move down my body. And by some inexplicable impulse, I lean back slightly, the way he did. This all happens in a split second. I swear he catches a glimpse of me—sort of a “you show me yours, I’ll show you mine” kind of situation. And when he looks back in the mirror, I see a very faint smile form on the side of his face. I look back down. He turns off the faucet, dries his hands with a couple paper towels, and he’s gone.

I don’t know what just happened. I don’t know if anything happened at all.

So I just stand there with my dick in my hands.
