BLURB:

Raven and Miguel are still on a tough recovery case involving a rare pigeon’s blood ruby worth millions of dollars. There’s a very real threat hanging over their heads, and they’re stuck with a client they don’t exactly trust, her attorney whom they suspect is involved in the whole mess, and a man claiming to be a “friend” of the widow who looks more like an extra from a mobster movie.

They’ve had more action in the first few days than they ever wanted to. Opening a new recovery business shouldn’t be this dangerous, but then again, unexpected rogue CIA operatives trying to murder them wasn’t on the cards either. Unfortunately, only three have been caught, leaving at least one more out there, desperate to get his hands on a stolen shipment of gems.

When a moldering body turns up with Raven and Miguel’s names in his pocket, things really start heating up and the bullets start to fly. Making things even more complicated— every single government alphabet agency is getting in each other’s way, and trust is in short supply. Right when it seems there’s no way out, old friends inadvertently give them a clue how to get out of all this mess with their hides intact.

From the mean streets of Los Angeles to the tropical paradise of Grand Cayman, join Raven and Miguel in the exciting conclusion of the Trackers series.

REVIEW:

The conclusion to Raven and Miguel’s exciting story…or is this just the beginning???

Raven and Miguel have opened their recovery business, Trackers, with the help of Judy, Raven’s extremely capable assistant. They have the case of Tawny Flores’s missing pigeon’s blood ruby pendant and are continuing to  work on the illusive Mulberry Diamond recovery. Now a friend of Tawny’s, Brian Leopard, wants to hire them to recover a missing diamond pin and a couple first edition classic books that had been stolen from his home while he and his boy were out clubbing. But when an insurance investigator investigating the robberies mutilated body is discovered, Raven is almost taken out by an assassin and Miguel is seriously injured by an out-of-control FBI agent, that appears to have connections to a Mexican drug cartel, it’s time the men are put under FBI protective custody!

I loved the scene when Miguel and Raven met with Brian Leopard and his boy Trevor. I thought I would bust a gut laughing so hard at the two men openly ogling Miguel’s assets and propositioning him! 🤣

I swear that Patricia Logan loves to cause harm to her men to torture me too. Poor Miguel 😞 What happened to him was a travesty however it was better than what would have happened if the Sanchez Cartel would have gotten their dirty mitts on these two men at the coffee shop.

As always, being the super fan of the Death and Destruction series, I was thrilled to get a few moments with my dear Jarrett doing what he loves to do and is one of the best in the business. And getting to see Lincoln, MacMac, Mike and Cassidy do their thing is always a treat.

I am always sad when I see words like “conclusion of a series”. Especially in one of Patricia Logan’s alphabet agency series’s. But I always know that she will do good for the men I come to adore and their future. This amazing and exciting series was no exception. Just WOW! And I totally expect to see Raven and Miguel pop up in the future just like all our favorite protectors.

A huge Thumbs Up 👍 for the final book in this amazing series!
