REVIEW:
Oh what a perfect amuse bouche! I love a short story that conveys so much 🙂 We get a true sense of who Loui and Felix are in this sweet “meet cute” in an early morning coffee shop encounter between Felix, who works in construction, and Loui, a PhD student who loves words. Loui’s favorite word that he shares with Felix does not have the desired reaction. But Loui himself definitely catches Felix’s attention 😉 Loui is determined and Felix is perhaps receptive. A lovely beginning to a fresh start.
As usual, Nell Iris, the queen of the short story, presents the perfect gift in a small package. Well done again 🙂 Fans of short stories will love this for sure. Highly recommended.
