If there is one thing he can’t stand, it’s hockey players.

Rodney is working on yet another degree at Bellport U, and attempting to mind his own business when he runs into a fantasy come to life. Except, this guy also happens to be the foreign exchange student here on a scholarship. A hockey scholarship. After being bullied for years by athletes, he wants nothing to do with the guy.

At least that’s what he tells himself until Mr. Tall, Broody, and Persistent keeps finding ways to cross his path.

Andry came to this small town in the hopes to get a chance to join the professional hockey team in town. He figures being close by will be good for scouts to find him. It’s all part of the plan. But then a tiny, adorable man throws his world upside down. Now hockey is no longer the only thing taking up time and thoughts.

When his teammates decide to intervene in their relationship, Andry calls in backup to help him handle the situation.

This story features a brilliant college student who loves learning, a slightly unhinged hockey player Daddy who wants to spoil his newfound boy, and their story of taking back power from those who feel entitled to control others. You’ll find a strong found family, supportive friends, delightful relatives, fluffy feel good experiences, and more than a few possessive moments on the journey to happily ever after.

Daddies of the League is a college ice hockey shared world, where you’ll find Daddies both on and off the ice. Skate into your newest obsession and grab them all.

REVIEW:
We are back in Bellport!!!! This time we are focusing on Rodney, the younger brother of football player Aries from A Little Christmas: Raymond.

Rodney is genius and at the age of 21 is on his second PHD at Bellport University. He loves being at Bellport University near his family and his best friend Yaz, He just hates all the jocks there Unfortunately for him he is not an athlete like his brother and the only interest the universities sports stars have with in him is when they bully him or he has to tutor them because they are failing their classes.

Andry has managed to achieve his dream to get a scholarship to an American University to play ice hockey. He is looking forward to having the opportunity of getting a degree and hopefully a future position on an NHL team. It is going to be a very different life from most of his family who work in the mines in Russia. (All accept a mafia boss uncle). Ice hockey has to be his focus. Well that’s the intention until a small man runs into him on campus. A man he cannot stop thinking about. A man that he wants to protect from all the bad things in the world, to look after and cherish.

I love that we are back in Bellport and that we are getting to see all the Daddies and Littles from the previous books all interacting again. The Daddies in particular all have roles in this story, and they even start a WhatsApp group called the Alliance of Daddies. Aries in particular has his own chapters in this book. Along with seeing the Daddies Bellamy, Maddox, Luke, Bishop, Leon again we also get to see brief glimpses of their Littles and of course Aries & Rodney’s Ma is in the book, busy feeding her boys and adopting Aries into the family.

What else I love about A.W. Scott’s books set in Bellport is that they are feel good stories. There is a little more angst in this book than some of the others but not enough to take away all the warm happy feelings you get when you read a story where 99% of the characters are really accepting of each other. The family in this book, both found and blood related, support and love for each other is amazing. I look forward to more Bellport based books.
