REVIEW:
I don’t know how Sam packed so much in this last book but hold on because this is a rollercoaster ride you don’t want to miss a second of!
Things finally seem to be settling in for the three Hayes-Thomas-Delacroix men. They figured out the best solution for the men to be joint together legally and permanently. It’s may have been a little bit unorthodox but some may say that these men shine with being unique and doing things their way and definitely not what the public dictates as norms. But something is up with Ford and he’s withdrawing from them and his life. When the Ragin’ Cajun makes him come clean and then grabs the bull by the horns to make sure his husband gets healthy and is with them for the rest of their lives. But Ford discovers something he hadn’t fully realized until his dream, while under anesthesia, made him sit up and notice. And now he had to make his dream real for his husbands!
I’m so glad that Sam decided to write this last book in the series. I’m not thrilled with what Ford had to go through but it has happened in our family and several friend’s families as well. Thankfully Ford acted fast and all went well. But the nerves while waiting and the changes after the surgery were very real. But Jax and Cade love Ford with all their hearts and made sure he knew it. Plus they supported his changes to their lives at each turn. And Cade’s scary event just keeps reminding me that things just aren’t safe anymore and kids are being drawn into evil by vultures.
This book was the perfect way to tie up their lives and give comfort the readers that fell for them that they were going to live the life they desired their way. I do hope that we have a spin-off for Ford’s little brother Ash and the Delacroix’s chef Connor to get their own books/series too!
