What started as a desperate move to get out of the city became one of the best things that ever happened to Finn Connelly. And what started as a fake-boyfriend situation for Percy Davenport became one of the best times in all of his life.
Finn got himself in a situation where his life got threatened because of what he has done. He has taken something from one of the billionaires of the city and this guy knows it was him. This thing that he has taken could destroy the billionaire’s life. But Finn is adamant in exposing the fraud that cost his family everything, and there are hundreds of victims aside from his own family. When he approached his close friend for help in getting out of the city, a perfect situation came up. His friend’s boss needed someone to pose as a fake boyfriend while he vacations with his family to celebrate his parents’ 35th wedding anniversary in Greece. Finn agrees although he is also apprehensive because he doesn’t like to like to this guy and to his family but he has no other choice, he needed to get out of the city as soon as possible.
Percy Davenport is another billionaire who made his money in technology. Together with his best friend and now ex, they created a software that is now being used by their own government. He is focused on his work, and he had no time to form any relationships outside of it. When he agreed to join his family in Greece, he needed someone to pose as his boyfriend so his family will not focus on him again. Kim had a perfect “boyfriend” for him.
What Percy and Finn didn’t count on was liking each other. Percy is different from other men Finn has known, especially a different kind of billionaire from the one he had recently known and ran away from. Percy is kind and quite, he likes to live his life as anonymously as possible. He also values people. Meanwhile Percy never thought he would meet someone like Finn who is kind, smart and beautiful. They both wish they were not faking it.
When Finn finally told Percy what he did before meeting him, instead of getting angry, Percy helped him in exposing the fraud that was done to Finn’s family and to many other families.
A very sweet love story of two people looking to connect with someone who values their person, not just superficially but getting to know each down to the last detail. Two people who have been alone in their struggles but the love they have for their family is everything. I love this story Mr. Hayden Hall, Congratulations! I cannot wait to read more from you.
