REVIEW:
I am so sorry that this review is so extremely tardy but this book was so darn cute that it doesn’t matter what time of year you read it it because it will warm your heart!
Leo’s roommate suddenly moving out has left him in a bit of a tough spot. He needs a way to make more money to cover his and his beautiful little daughter Maya’s bills pronto . So finding out that Frostdale Mall’s Santa village needs another elf will have to work. And, if he is as lucky as his brother June was last year, he might even find his true love there. Emmerson is finally achieving his dream. He’s a few years past when he thought he would be opening his own business but it’s finally a reality and Tease Me, Teas Tea Shop is opening back in his hometown mall on Black Friday. When he finally takes a break he is enchanted by the gorgeous elf in the shimmering ice-blue costume. But can he get the beauty to take a chance on an older man?
I loved Juniper/June and Alec story last year and was super intrigued about his much younger brother Leo with the sweet little daughter Maya. I knew there was a story there and had a feeling that Kota Quinn wouldn’t leave us hanging too long. And I was right. Maya arrived on Leo’s 16th birthday. She was the result of a virginal romantic encounter after prom and is the light in Leo’s life and his entire family. Raising Maya has raised a few words of gossip but Leo ignores those old crows. When the handsome new shop owner pursues Leo he knows the second he sees his daughter that will stop. What he and Emmerson never realized was how attached Emmi would become to both of them. And he wanted that package deal.
This was a fun and quick read that really gave all the warm and fuzzy feels I needed. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did and realize that you are still smiling when you think of it again. I would recommend that you read Juniper Green first (just because it’s a special story too 🥰) but isn’t required to enjoy this special story.
