I’m so glad to be back with the Heartstone Rescue Series. I have been captivated by this series and the dragon’s heartstones.
Kami and Talon are loners that thrive on rescuing dragons that need a safe place to live. When the unthinkable happens and his alpha best friend and fellow rescuer Talon’s heartstone is crushed after he is captured while trying to save omegas and children. Kami was too late to save Talon’s stone so he replaced it with his own. But now he’s fading fast and his rescuer is is fated mate!!! But can they find him a new heartstone before it’s too late?
Kami is the epitome of selfless. The smaller omega dragon may lack in size but he is as fierce a rescuer as any Alpha. He just needed a new stone of his own when he knew that Talon needed his to survive. And his Rescuer, Reno, is his mate so this needs to be done pronto! What no one knew was that Kami is an extremely rare dragon. He may not have ever had heats and is most probably doomed to no children but Cain knew immediately that he had one of the most rare and extremely sought after dragons of all, a STONE SINGER, and he was going to be demanded by other keeps. Actual that Lady Barra, from the Hanash, keep worries me and I am sure she’s going to cause major problems with her desire to take Kami. But I know that Reno and Talon, plus’s all their found and blood brother’s, will make sure that Kami is safe and where he needs to be.
I was fun to catch up with all the dragon’s and their mates and many babies! I hope the next book will be Talon’s. Kami was so sure that Talon would find his mate and father lots of kids. That’s why he sacrificed his heartstone to his best friend. Now that needs to happen. And with all the omegas and children being rescued and brought to their keep that’s a real possibility!
