Okay, hold on to your heart because Sam has written a new and wonderful series that has stolen mine completely!
Kincade “Cade” Hayes never dreamed that when he finished college and was in his new home, a studio apartment, that his life and love life was going to explode. First he meets two of the most beautiful men he’s ever seen. The blond bombshell gay nightclub owner, Branford “Ford” X. Thomas, and his fiery redheaded Pro Football player boyfriend, Jackson “Jax” Delacroix. Then his new job starts and that’s a near miss of disastrous proportions. But things are looking up. He has a job working for each of these amazing men and proves to them that he is as smart as he is beautiful. But coming between Jax and Ford is not in his plans. But what if Jax and Ford want him between them permanently?
These guys hooked me. I love poly and this one is intriguing me because it is going slow and showing all the pitfalls if you aren’t meticulous in communication. Especially in the early stages where emotions are high and feelings get hurt really easily. Relationships are hard! But adding a third complicates it so much more. But these guys work for me and Cade really is the missing puzzle piece to them all having a happy, healthy polyamorous relationship. I get where he could believe he is just there as a piece to get them back on track. And that he doesn’t want to cause any harm to Ford and Jax’s relationship. And that he thought he knew when it was best to just go. However, just jumping ship, running and hiding because you think you know what’s best isn’t the mature way to handle things.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series and thankfully it’s out now so I don’t have to because even mini cliffhangers are still cliffhangers and I’m not a patient reader lol! Hope you enjoy this new series as much as I am!
