Favorite character ever written
For me, the favorite character I have ever written is Geoff Laughton from the Love Means… series. I’ve written Geoff as a kid as well as a young adult and eventually as a father. I even got to write him as he approached middle age. There is something about following a character through that much of their life brings that character into high relief and makes them a part of you.
The other reason Geoff is so close to me is that he is the nearest I have ever come to putting myself in a story. Not that Geoff is me, because he isn’t, but he shares a lot of my experiences. Since he was a very early character, I tended to put more of myself in him than I did any of the others.
If you haven’t done it yet, pick up one of the Farm Series stories and find out what Love Means… to you.

Blurb/Synopsis:
Ronny Ledbetter inherited a bar, The Gingerbread, from his father, and he’s been working his hands to the bone to update the building and keep the business functioning. What he really needs is help… and a life outside of work. What he doesn’t expect is a man like Arden to stumble into his life.
Turned out by his parents, Arden Thatcher is living in his aunt and uncle’s converted garage, and he needs a job. Getting desperate to
find something, he approaches the sex-on-a-stick hot Ronny, who gives him a test behind the bar and then a job. But that only solves one of his problems; his controlling uncle is still attempting to run his life.

Andrew grew up in western Michigan with a father who loved to tell stories and a mother who loved to read them. Since then, he has lived throughout the country and traveled throughout the world. He has a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and works in information systems for a large corporation.
