PUBLISHER: Self-published
LENGTH: 327 pages
RELEASE DATE: February 20, 2025
BLURB:
Wingman 101: Make him fall head over heels in love.
Brad
What’s a straight guy to do when he accidentally goes on a date with his brand new gym-bro? Offer to be the best wingman ever, of course! It’s foolproof.
Joey needs a man? I’ll find him one.
He wants someone who looks, well, kind of like me? No problem!
Not into watersports? I’ve got him covered.
The issue is, going on all these dates with Joey makes me realize I want more of his time to be spent with me. I like the guy. And his smile. And the way he makes me feel like anything is possible.
Except… I can’t possibly be who Joey needs. He wants his forever person. His great big love.
And no matter how perfect the dude’s abs are or how skilled he is as a cuddle-bro, the two of us will never be more than friends. Because I’m straight.
Right?
10 Ways to Accidentally Fall in Love is a lighthearted romantic comedy with disastrous dates, more innuendo than is probably healthy, an oblivious sweetheart, the gym-dude who falls for him swiftly, and a HEA loaded with firsts. It has characters who originally appeared in Himbo (Elite 8 Studios Book 4) but is set as a standalone.
REVIEW:
Joey is new in town having moved from the east coast to join his uncle and cousins in the family construction business. He’s fitting in well getting to know his extended family after his homophobic father’s passing and an offer to join the company has him making the move. He goes to the gym and meets Brad. Brad is extremely friendly and Joey misreads Brad. After he invites Brad to dinner, he tries to kiss Brad at the end of the evening and that’s when Brad tells him he’s straight. Say what????? Joey worries his gaydar is completely broken. He’s never misread a situation like this.
Brad feels terrible. His new bestie needs to find his man. So Brad decides he’s going to be the best wingman ever and find Joey his guy. This leads to a series of HYSTERICAL dates. Brad tries really hard to find a guy for Joey, but finally he comes to the conclusion that he doesn’t want to come second to Joey. Oh, and also, maybe he wants Joey for himself. And not just as a friend.
When he announces this to Joey, lets say Joey is shocked. But he’s not going to miss his shot. He knows Brad could change his mind. But he also knows Brad won’t try to hurt him and he wants Brad to be completely honest about what he wants/doesn’t want or likes/doesn’t like. Despite warnings from friends that he could really end up with heartbreak, Joey isn’t about to stop this Brad train. And so the bros with bennies begins.
And what a ride it is! Joey is determined to show Brad just how good they can be together. Brad is 100% enthusiastic, even if he finds some things confusing. But they agree to be honest and communicate so there aren’t any misunderstandings

Bub is determined to be what his Joey-roo needs!
Ohmygod! This book is soooooo cute and hilarious. I stopped counting the number of times I laughed out loud. Brad is absolutely the sweetest golden retriever energy MC ever. He is completely guileless which is so refreshing. He’s in his own little bubble world in some ways but is the absolute best caring friend too. What goes in his head must be absolutely mind-blowing. I really adored how he looked at the world. He’s not shallow. He’s not a surface guy. He really does look deeper and his love and caring for his friends and for Joey were incredible. Joey, for his part is wiling to risk a possible broken heart because he knows Brad would never hurt him on purpose. He’s more than willing to show Brad what being with a guy is like and once they start their “bros with bennies” well things move along
Brad as wingman to Joey his bestie is freaking hilarious. Brad is kind of the last one to realize that maybe he likes Joey as more than a friend. Jason and Cas (from Himbo) are Brad’s supportive friends who continue to be there for him. Joey’s family is super sweet and supportive as well – particularly his mom and his cousin Iggy
Honestly given all the horrible stuff going on in the world right now, the book could not have arrived at a better moment. This was a perfect go to story to relieve some of the anxiety of the daily news ATM. Just a damn near perfect book. The best rom com I’ve read in a long time and I absolutely loved it. Emmy Sanders does it again
Highly recommended!
