One bad call can change your entire season.
Casey
The first night we met, he burned hotter than the sun for the handful of hours we spent in bed. How immature to be bitter that I never called him back.
The second time we met was on the ball field. I couldn’t decide if his bad calls were directed at my team or me. But if I didn’t play nice, the Muskrats had a zero chance of winning the College World Series.
I enjoyed his body, but his smart mouth made my blood boil. This might work if I could find something to stuff it with.
Baylor
Casey checked every one of my boxes. So what if he couldn’t stand me? I think he loved the tension as much as I did.
Besides our petty bickering and his obsession with the worst team in the MLB, we were perfectly matched. He was the first man I slept with. What would it take to make him the last?
Bad Call is the second novel in the Boy Batter series. This enemies-to-lovers MM sports romance between a coach and an umpire has a bi-awakening, a one-night stand, and humiliation and degradation kink.
REVIEW:
Two guys, meet at a bar and are instantly hot for each other, so they spend a steamy night together.
It was ‘Buck’s’ first time, lately, he discovered he was attracted to men too. He wanted to expand this horizon. ‘Colin’ was a willing, and dominating partner to pop his V-card. Not that Colin was aware of it.
Buck offered his number but never got a call. Yup, Colin is a one-and-done guy,
Spoiler: Both can’t get the other out of their head.
Imagine their mutual surprise when they got introduced to each other, as the umpire and the head coach. Both are in the baseball world.
Baylor (Buck) is not amused to meet the guy Casey (Colin) who lets him down. Yeah, both gave the other a fake name. An instant aversion and anger make Baylor react badly.
They are in each other’s hair every time they collide! And gosh do they collide.
In Baylor’s eyes, Casey is a bad coach, and Casey can’t find a positive thing about Baylors being the umpire.
The tension is rising and rising. They keep running into each other, blaming each other for stalking.
More accidental encounters, but something is changing, and oh boy it’s getting hotter and hotter!
This was a fun read, the enemies-to-lovers part was delightful! The k!nky part is super duper intense. The feelings are all over the place!
I loved this one, it was solidly written and very enjoyable!
