Cryss of House Kreegl and his best friend, Qylar, have been hiding on Earth for three years—to avoid his scheming parents dead set on a royal match. After losing a bet where he couldn’t say ‘no’ for one day, he ends up signed as a model. All thoughts of retribution for Qylar’s embarrassing punishment are forgotten when he meets the enthralling Marketing Director of the queer underwear brand who first employs him.
Struggling to recover from a painful breakup, Alex Parker busies himself with his massive, holiday ad campaign, already two months overdue. The last thing he needs is to lose the model cast in the role of ‘Santa Daddy’ the day of the shoot. Thankfully the agency sends a last-minute, newly signed model to save the day. The minute Alex takes one look, he knows Cryss is perfect for their Santa—and unlike any man he’s ever met.
Alex doesn’t mix business and pleasure, throwing a wrench in Cryss’s plans of seduction.
When Alex backs himself into a corner at work, Cryss makes a move. He’ll fix Alex’s problem, if the human agrees to celebrate the entire holiday season by his side. Together that close, however, Cryss’s secrets and tentacles are bound to come out.

REVIEW:
This story ensnared be from the first page and didn’t let go even once the story ended. I’m always fascinated when an author mixes an alien world with the human world. Kelex outdid herself with this one. This is a Christmas story, but not a smoopy one that repeatedly knocks you over the head with the holiday.
The world building is fantastic of course. We get to learn about Cryss’s home world and how he comes to be one Earth. We get a glimpse into the ad campaign world and how intense it can be.
The character development is this story is so well done. From the in-depth background details of both main characters to the smallest details for the side characters – you really get a feel for all of these characters.
Which leads me into the words written. So, so good. The words just created all the feels for this reviewer. I loved how she sorted out the myriads of complications arising from a tentacled alien and human pairing. Did I mention tentacles, yep there are lots and lots of tentacle interactions.
Alex surveyed his outfit. He saw nothing wrong with his chinos, light blue button down, and gray sweater. It all matched. Considering his morning and how tired he’d been, Jonas should be thankful for that.
“I might be able to find you a Santa hat to help…” Jonas waved a palm toward Alex’s attire. “This. Sometimes, I wonder if you’re truly gay. You have no style, Alex. Ethan’s straight and he dresses better than you do. You look like an unemployed tech bro.”
“Sorry. I’m just not a fashionista.”
Will Cryss come clean and tell Alex the truth? Will Alex embrace being spoiled by Cryss? Will Cryss and Alex get their happily ever after? How many tentacles does Cryss have? You’ll need to grab this story and see for yourself. Because I’m not going to reveal the answers.
I highly recommend this brilliantly crafted Christmas story – tentacles and all. So do yourself a favor and run to your favorite eBook purchasing site and snatch this one up. You won’t regret it. I hope Kelex writes more stories in this world. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
