Description
Terror: Once, he had been Terrance Holton, a young gay man who learned to shove what he is so deep inside himself, he almost forgot. He grew up to be Terror and he is the Vice President of one of the baddest outlaw motorcycle clubs in Pennsylvania. The consequence of denying who he really is turns Terror into a threat to everyone around him, and eventually lands Terror in jail. There he connects with a beautiful older man who teaches Terror to love who he is.
Tinman: Timothy Jacoby gave years of his life to leading a motorcycle club that no longer exists. He did anything for his MC and his brothers, never hiding who he was. Then Tinman got arrested and sent to prison, where he serves ten years. When Tinman meets a younger biker who hides his gayness from the crew he rides with, he vows to keep Terror safe, but he hides his own past as a biker. Unable to forget their blistering encounters, the minute Tinman is released, he’s hellbent on finding Terror again. This time he’ll keep his prize.
Both men’s secrets are about to collide, and they just might blow the Scorned Devils MC to smithereens.

Terror headed toward the big bay door where he parked Ratchet’s bike. Striding past the two bikes that were ridden by members who had seen Tinman and him lock lips last night, he gathered it was all over the club by now. He entered, went to the fridge, and grabbed a beer.
“Coffee might be better.”
He spun to see Dread perched on the table. “Why? I didn’t drink that much.”
“Just saying.”
“Can we talk?” Damn it. Dread, through everything, was the one man he could talk to who wouldn’t run off at the mouth. Not his style. And, like Terror, he’d do any and everything in his power to protect the Scorned Devils MC. “In private.”
“Look, Terror, I’m like, fuck, man, I’m attached.”
“Gathered that much when you threatened me last night.” Couldn’t contain a grunt of disappointment. “It’s not about that, but it’s important.”
“The office.” Dread led the way and once both were seated, he asked, “What’s up?”
“Did you know any members of the Mortal Rejects?”
“Whoa, what brought this about?”
“Can you just answer the question?”
“A few.” Dread stood and walked to the window. “Terror, I have always respected you as a member. You care about the Devils.” He spun and scowled. “I just don’t like the man you are.”
“My coming out…”
“Might change things. Time will tell.” He returned to his chair. “Why this curiosity about the Rejects?”
“I’m sleeping with one.”
“Fuck me!” Jumping up, Dread rounded the table. He angled down until their noses damn near touched. “Say that again?”
“Name’s Tinman.”
“Son. Of. A. Bitch. He’s still around?”
“He spent ten years at the same prison I did time in.”
“And he found his way to Coatesville?” Straightening, Dread’s fists clenched at his sides, he continued to look at Terror. “That’s who you showed out with last night?”
“Yeah. Look. I need to know because I… Jesus, he was there for me in jail and, shit, I like him.”
“Like him or like how he fucks you?”
“No one’s ever fucked me.” Terror stared at Dread. Saw him differently. Damn, he didn’t want to give him his ass after all. The man he wanted to have that pleasure turned him down because of the one he looked at now.
“You insinuated saving yourself for me. Never going to happen, Terror.”
“Good. And I heard you the first time. I don’t want to end up a skull on either of those beasts you ride.”
“How many heads would be on yours, Terror?”
“Fuck’s sake, do you know him or not?”
“You fuckers need better security.”
Dread spun and Terror leaned to peer around him. Neither had heard the door open. “Tinman, I take it.”
“Dread. We never formally met, but I’d wager you’ve heard as much about me as I’ve heard about you.”
“You’d be right.”
Terror gaped at the Scorned Devils’ sergeant at arms. “Why don’t I know this shit, damn it?”
Dread remained still. “You were young and impetuous when you prospected. There were things you didn’t need to know. By the time you became VP, there wasn’t much talk. What you did hear you likely brushed off because it didn’t mean anything to you.”
“Wait.” What had niggled at Terror hit. “I recall one conversation after running into some Specters during a poker run into Philly. I thought you or Bat said ‘the man’.” He sat back in his seat and stared at the biker in the doorway. “Tinman.”
Tinman closed the door with a bang. He crossed the room and dropped into the chair beside Terror. “Trust me, Terror, you won’t end up a skull on his bike.” He faced Dread. “Am I right?”
“Let me give a proper introduction.” Dread moved to the end of the table. “Meet the ex-president of the Mortal Rejects.” He observed Terror, waited for his reaction.
Terror rose, twisted toward Tinman, and slapped him as hard as he could across the face. “You motherfucker.”
“Did you just slap me?”
“Hurts worse than a punch when a man slaps your ass. Stings like a bitch, doesn’t it?”
“Guess I deserved that.” He swiped a hand down his cheek. “But don’t ever hit me again, Terror. I might want to start a collection of skulls myself.”
