I know I have to keep my hands off of my best friend’s son, but it’s hard… really, really hard…
I didn’t know the guy I picked up in the bar last night was Hero’s son. To be fair, he didn’t even know he had a son until today. I guess we’re all just scrambling to put on our poker faces.
Keeping my hands off of Milo is hard enough thanks to his lickable dimple, flirty smiles, and virgin skin. But I swear this has to be a test. Why else would Hero insist that his son come to live with me? And why is it so hard for Milo to just keep his clothes on already?
If I can’t keep my hands off of him I could lose my friends, our club, even the tattoo shop I love more than anything. Given the stakes, it should be easy.
Right, and a Prince Albert just pinches a little…
Virgin skin is a best friend’s (adult) son romance with a side of roommates-to-lovers, some forced proximity, a “stuck in the dryer” moment, and a whole lot of tension between two guys who just can’t keep their eyes and hands off of each other, no matter how much they try.
REVIEW:
This enjoyable second book in the Ink Slingers series focuses on Pisteon – the straight-laced sensible member of motor cycle club and co-owner of the tattoo parlour by the same name – Ink Slingers and Milo, Hero’s son.
Milo, has decided to jack in his old life and come to find the father he has never met. In fact the father that doesn’t know he even exists. But the night before he does that he has one other thing that he really wants to do. It’s not just his skin that is a virgin. So he heads into a bar and pulls a cute older, bike.
Pisteon isn’t going to say no to the guy that somehow looks familiar. If only he could work out why…. Oh when he sees Milo & Hero together he knows why and the last thing he wants to do is mess up his relationship with his found family so he will have to find a way to resist the gorgeous and enticing (and still a virgin) Milo. This might have been possible if Hero hadn’t insisted Milo come and use his spare room.
Milo knows his ADHD can make him a lot for people to handle but he really wants Pisteon to be the one and to integrate into the Ink Slingers crew and to make Fall Crosse his permanent home.
This book is set in the same universe as the Four Bears Construction series and Big Bull Mechanics, and we get one tiny glimpse of these guys in this book. We also get to know see a little bit more of the rest of Ink Slingers tattooists. The first book was really steamy, whilst there is no full-on anal sex until the end there is still plenty of spice between to the main characters throughout the book. In fact, they cannot keep their hands off each.
I am hoping there will be a book three so we can find out more about Jag and co and to find out why Brick needs to be back home before curfew. (Is that what he is saying??)
