REVIEW:
What a great start to a new series, co- authored by two of my favourite Daddy/Boy authors Jacki James & Sammi Cee.
This series is set in the historic Windsor, a former grand hotel, now swish apartments set around the original bar, restaurant and shops in the hotel lobby. The Windsor Hotel was converted by Hitch one of the Daddies of Windsor Place. Other Daddies we meet are Bram, who owns the bakery at the Windsor and Archer who owns a photography studio and lives in the Windsor.
Other characters we are introduced to are Quincy the bar tender, Elton a distracted author who lives at the Windsor, Cort Thompkins a private investigator who is looking for his lost brother Jordy and Crispin who has just taken over the yoga Harmony and Joy off the lobby. These are such a great bunch of characters, and I am looking forward to finding out all their stories!!
This book focuses on Archer and Crispin. Archer is a successful photographer. His main bread and butter is weddings and family shots but his passion is art, and the walls of the Windsor is the gallery his art is shown on. He has noticed the gorgeous young man in the yoga studio downstairs but has never had the excuse to properly interact with him. Until Crispin is the one to deliver his dinner one night…
Crispin, has given up his job in finance and is following his heart. He is buying the yoga studio from his friend Aziza who has moved away to Florida. His brother is very supportive which is just as well as Crispin is now sleeping at his whilst saving up enough to pay his friend a reasonable price for the brand and goodwill on the studio he has taken over. Unfortunately, his parent and particularly his father are not so supportive of his decision. Crispin has notice Mr Tall, Dark and Brooding around the Windsor but has never had the chance to talk to him properly until he delivers his dinner to him one night ….
I am really looking forward to the rest of this series and Jacki & Sammi please, please don’t make me wait too many books for Hitch and Elton.
