Sometimes what you start takes longer than you thought to finish.
DEA contractor Thorsen Magnus thought he caught the big fish, but in the end it led nowhere. Now, four months later, he is still trying to get the rest of the meth operation in the Mendocino area. And it’s proving almost as frustrating as most of the relationships in his life have been. The one major exception there, and bright spot, is his new partner, Michael.
Michael Constantine left his father’s employment to start his own architecture firm. But the family has a way of not letting go, especially with his father’s business in trouble and his brother implicated in Thorsen’s investigation.
With his case stalled and his boss threatening to pull the plug, Thorsen needs to find a lead, and fast. While not happy about it, and against his protective instincts, he enlists Michael’s help, and together they manage to get things back on track. But the leads they uncover could expose them to more danger than either of them imagined.
REVIEW:
I had already fallen for these two! Now I just need them to be safely together.
Thor wants…no needs to get to the bottom of this meth operation that is literally operating on his and Michael’s back yard so to speak. Add in that Michael’s younger brother is still being contacted by these guys and he knows this has to be stopped now. His problem is that he wants Michael far from all this danger. But his stubborn boyfriend will hear nothing of it. So how does he bring him along and keep them both safe?
I’m getting super attached to these men and their need to make sure their town/area is safe from some pretty nasty drug makers. I am loving that these two pretty private men are learning to open up to their lover on how important they are to them and the love that has developed is real and long-lasting. They found their true love and nobody is coming between them. Not drug smugglers, not meddlesome fathers and definitely not each other and some questioning thoughts. I loved how Thor just talked it out with Michael. No need for angst in their relationship because what they have is the forever kind of love for each other.
I do love how Aggie, Thor’s baby nephew, has taken hold of all their hearts. I hope that they can figure out how to incorporate a family into their lives because they would both be amazing dads! And they have the perfect place to raise this child if one comes their way.
I am unsure if there is more to this series but I feel like we have just scratched the surface with these men and how their joint lives together continue on with all the new changes coming their way! 🤞Great series that I am thoroughly enjoying and looking forward to more!!!
