Etienne Tremblay has lived more than four lifetimes, and as the head of The House of Tremblay, he takes his responsibilities seriously. One hot night, a chance encounter with a human male takes away Etienne’s unneeded breath. The man is beautiful and friendly, and he quickly becomes Etienne’s latest obsession. The problem: The beast inside him—who can become uncontrollable at times—is obsessed as well, and he refuses to allow Etienne to ruin it for them by adhering to his prissy, outdated goody-two-shoes ethics.
One night while out for a run, Ryker DeWitt nearly takes down a man who is taking out the trash from a restaurant. Unable to get the man out of his thoughts, Ryker returns to the scene of the crime to get a better look at the guy.
When Etienne joins him and his best friend for dinner, Ryker is smitten and agrees to an invitation for a nightcap. What Ryker doesn’t know is there’s a very good chance he might become the nightcap.
How strong is Etienne’s hold on his beast? What happens when Ryker meets Etienne’s twin? Why does it seem that everywhere Ryker turns there’s a Tremblay to greet him?

REVIEW:
A new and unique twist on a vampire and his relationship with his inner beast!
Etienne Tremblay, the Head of The House of Tremblay, is the head vampire of their coven/family. He takes his position very seriously. When he speaks with a man that peaks his interest he is pleasantly surprised. But when his “twin” (his inner beast), developed a mutual obsession with the new law school graduate, things become very interesting at The House of Tremblay. Etienne desires refined time and companionship with Ryker but Stephen desires much more baser desires. But can Etienne trust Stephen with their mate?
I was intrigued with the inner battle of Etienne and Stephen that had been going on. I guess in this story it was unusual. That the Human turned Vampire and their beast found a way to be one and work as one. But these two presented as completely different personalities that all the rest of their family knew and recognized. They even referred to them separately. I did love that Ryker, when he finally came to terms with who they were after his much expected freak out over there being a family of vampires living among them and snacking on his friends, was their true mate and had the ability to unite the two within. But what I truly loved was how vastly different both Stephen and Etienne were but that fulfilled all their true mate’s needs. From the more refined things to do but also sexier needs were satisfied.
I did love that this series came to fruitation from a group of writers down in NOLA visiting and talking. Such a special treat to their readers to get such a lovely gift and this story was a very special treat I think you will enjoy!
