How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?

Writing can be a very frustrating profession.  There is always work that gets started and leads to nowhere.  Thankfully I have bene very lucky.  Currently I have no unpublished or uncontracted finished manuscripts at this time.  Which I consider myself quite lucky for.

I do have a number of stories that have been started.  Those are ones where I have written the first three chapters in order to submit the ideas on proposal.  I think I have four or five of those at the moment.  Three of those are currently out on active submission.  There are a few that will probably go no further, but that’s okay.  Sometimes what sounds like a great idea, just doesn’t stand the test of time.  Hopefully I can return to some of the ones I started eventually.

There is also the manuscript that I am currently working on.  That one is in the final stages of being written and needs to be submitted by the end of the month.  Of course by then, there will probably be another idea that will get its first three chapters written.  Who knows.

Andrew grew up in western Michigan with a father who loved to tell stories and a mother who loved to read them. Since then, he has lived throughout the country and traveled throughout the world. He has a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and works in information systems for a large corporation.
