Everything else is negotiable. Opportunities missed can be seized again—loves lost, recovered—but the tick of time is inexorable, inescapable, and merciless.
That’s where I come in. I, alone, can bargain with this ruthless beast and wrestle it into submission. I can provide more minutes, days, hours. I can give you one last chance to spill your heart’s secrets at the feet of those you love best.
For a price.
Tempus fugit, my friends. Let me help you make the most of yours.
REVIEW:
Faust has been paying the price for a desperate mistake for a very, very long time. He’s doing his best to make his master happy but his life will never be his own.
Cameron is doing his best to make the world a better place. His life is his own, but it’s cold and lonely. He doesn’t realize how cold and lonely until he finds himself at odds with Faust.
Faust and Cameron live in a world where the paranormal and humanity live together. The authors have created a fantastic place where magic happens and people are not always what they seem.
Faust and Cameron have the strangest combination of meet cute and enemies to lovers and it works very well. I didn’t really expect to get so emotionally involved in this story but I did. These characters are easy to relate to and I loved the banter they had going between them.
This is a very short story and I’m struggling with what to say without giving anything away. The sex is hot and sweet and really left me needing a cold shower.
There were a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming and I always love it when that happens.
This is the first book in a series and I have already read number 2 and will be posting the review for that shortly.
Witty banter, magic and kicking butt. Three of my favorite things!
