He was only supposed to be gay for pay.
Angel
I’ve never had sex before. And I’ve definitely never looked at a guy that way before. But with his brightly-colored hair and beautiful outfits, Rhys is hard to ignore–especially after I learn what he does for a living.
Signing up with The Camboy Network is way outside my comfort zone, but with Rhys guiding me the whole way, it doesn’t feel all that scary. In fact, it feels like fate.
Rhys
I left home the minute I turned eighteen, so falling for a guy from the old neighborhood is the last thing I should do–especially since he’s straight. But he’s utterly adorable, so innocently kinky, and exactly my type.
We shouldn’t fit together so well, but we do. No matter how hard I try to stay away, I can’t. Our lives couldn’t be more different on the outside, but maybe we’re a lot more alike than we think.
Angel is a bi-awakening, opposites attract, size difference MM romance between a burly cinnamon roll construction worker and a flamboyant pole-dancing twink. Expect accidentally dirty text messages, completely unexpected kinks, and chivalrous courage that truly runs deep. Angel is the third book in The Camboy Network series, but can be read as a stand-alone.
REVIEW:
I have truly enjoyed this series and having a virgin teddy bear of a man discover both his sexuality and his kinks was a real treat.
Angel is a good man. He lives above his Mom’s house in the extra apartment. He is helping her pay off the second mortgage that dear ol Pops ran up on their house with his gambling debts before he died. And helping out with his new nephew Jonah when his sister Sabrina’s baby daddy took off and they wound up living back home too. Plus Angel is a simple man. Get up, go to work on his well paying construction job, come home, help make Sunday Supper and watch Jonah when Sabrina wants to go off with friends. But that suddenly changes when he, and all his former high school football buddies, goes to the neighbor’s house for his buddy Nico’s dad’s 60th birthday party. The whole neighborhood is there and he can just hang back and observe. But when Ricky, Nico’s flamboyant little brother, shows up he is drawn to the small statured beautiful man. When Ricky suddenly disappears upstairs he follows him and strikes up a conversation that will change his boring and predictable life forever.
Wow! What a transformation this was for Angel. With his total trust in Rhys (Ricky) he discovered a whole new life, and with that, and a whole new him. I loved that both men were super protective of the other even though neither thought that they were worthy of the other. The gentle and totally chivalrous virgin teddy bear with the flamboyant pole dancer/camboy porn star twink shouldn’t have worked. Angel is from the old neighborhood that Rhys ran from as fast as his 18 year old Ricky self could get him out of there. But they totally and completely complimented each other and made me fall for both of them so hard. Basically, they both looked like they were put together and with it on the exterior. But deep down inside they both absolutely needed what the other provided. They were the ying and yang to make themselves whole, healthy and happy in their own bodies!
I have truly loved this series and the unique differences that each of the Camboy Network stars has brought forward. I am looking forward to Rhys’ former roommate Hayden’s HEA next. Santino is Bellamy’s old roommate from San Francisco and this sounds like it’s going to get very interesting for the “golden retriever” of the Brunch Bunch. Great addition to a fabulous series! 👍💕
