A small town rescue romance — saving more than their hearts!
Brock inherited a bookstore with a tiny café in the quaint but confining hamlet he grew up in. He never imagined coming home would bring brand new issues and maybe a man of his own to protect.
Eddy is on the run. He may be a little paranoid with a side of anxiety and a tendency to be obsessive, but that doesn’t mean someone isn’t out to get him. Worse, it might be someone he knows. But he never thought he’d turn to a sexy, gruff and unlikely bookstore owner for help.
Welcome to Foggy Basin. Just passing through? No problem. Here to stay, well, better find your place. Sit back, relax and get to know the townsfolk. They love hard and play even harder. Each book is a standalone but why not stay and get to know us and read them all.
REVIEW:
Eddy got threatening emails and bam left town. Eh, no police? No, he ran.
Eddy is a game developer at his family business, with his brother Greg and Greg’s husband Kurt.
Kurt is a nasty mf. Eddy is almost certain Kurt is behind the emails.
Brock is the owner of a tiny bookstore in a tiny town named Foggy Basin. One day a frightened guy entered his shop for shelter. In a blink, he’s gone again.
Their attraction is instant and when Eddy shows up again Brock feels protective and takes him home with him.
Eddy is right someone is looking for him. He doesn’t want to bring Brock in danger and returns home. He can’t convince his brother about Kurt being the one threatening him.
It was a super light read, even with some danger still light, and slightly developed, all fast-paced, with instant attraction, and several (a lot) sexual encounters which I scrolled through because I couldn’t feel it.
The suspense and who and why someone was after Eddy was nicely put together.
The supportive people of Foggy Basin were a nice addition to the story.
