REVIEW:
O.M. G. Does the phrase Epic Fanasy Novel ring any bells? Because this journey will be a long one of chocked full of confusion and enlightenment! So grab a beverage, curl up in a comfy spot and get ready for a magical fantasy journey.
Auslin just wants a moment of peace from his companion. No they have never become mates and Kio has also never been faithful to him, always running off to have sex with his ex Maseo. He knew that Kio would eventually wind up looking for him but would not pass through Fate’s Gate or the clearing beyond due to the superstitions that came with the area. Auslin was just so weary and needed a momentary break. So he ducked under the red cord that stopped all and walked through Fate’s Gate. He never expected to be immediately transported back centuries in time and encounter a dragon shifter he feared hurt and had to protect him! But now he is stuck in an alternate time and can’t return home until he and his dragon prince guardian/protector go on a journey to discover his fate. But does he really want to go back after he and Prince Kitaro develop deep feelings?
WOW! What a fantastic book this is. I had read, and I highly recommend you read it first also, the Bonded Hearts prequel Enchanter of Dragons. I knew this was a series for me but the depth that the author went to to weave the story that she has been working on over seventeen years way beyond my wildest dreams. We have a universe that is so complex yet you have no problem following it. I can not wait for the next book in this series. But these are books that must be read in order. This is a continuing epic saga that picks up right where the last book left off. Auslin doesn’t want to set off anything that will change the future so he uses his birth name Vanra. The chemistry and connection these two, Varna and Kitaro, have is as obvious as is Varna’s magical abilities that King Tatsuki and Princess Kizoshi both recognize as more than ny normal human mage would ever possess. And I can’t wait to discover what is Auslin/Vanra’s true story.
I am not a patient reader and being left on a cliffhanger is not my usual desire but this book series will grab hold of you and change your mind. I will admit that I went back and reread the beginning of the book when I finished this and the bonus chapter that was available. I simply can not get enough of this journey I have embarked on and these two men that have totally and completely captured my heart 💕 I will be waiting with eager breath for the next release that can not get here soon enough. I need these men to get their hard earned HEA that they were promised and completely deserve! I realize it won’t be easy but they are meant to be mates and anyone in their way needs to recognize this. A huge thumbs up on this magnificent tale!
