REVIEW:
I have been waiting a loooooooog time for this next book in the series.
Harley and Nomad, a fated mates panther shifter pair for over 20 years, need a place to lay low after their last job for the council. So taking the job at the BDSM Club in tiny town of Cookietown, clear across the state, seemed like a good choice. But that choice became everything when Harley’s prediction became very real when a tiny sassy dynamo, in a cute onesie and a head of soft blond curls, walked by and fated mate rang strong in both of them. But why was this Little pointedly ignoring them and allowing some big leather daddy to touch what was obviously theirs!!!
I had fallen for Daddy Gabai, the owner of the BDSM Club in Cookietown that house the Little Paws Haven Day Care for Littles, and his fated mate, Asher. I loved that the many Daddy shifters that frequented the club came to help out with that disgusting former pack Asher had came from so I knew it was a town that supported their own no matter what type of shifter they were. We knew that a new mated couple were hired to help out managing the club at the end of Little Treasure He Hides. And that the stealth and deadly yet sweet and bold little Cosmo was the third to the couple that had been together 20 years, making it work between the two Alpha Doms until their third, Harley knew was coming from his special senses, finally appeared. I loved that they totally accepted who Cosmo was because they had been also trained to be the same. Although they had chosen this field of work for the council, they soon realized that Cosmo never had that opportunity. The fact that Cosmo was as fierce as they were worked completely. He completed their triad but challenged his big, bad Daddies. I know it was hard for Nomad especially to give up any kind of nurturing and control but it was important to their relationship for Cosmo to be on the same footing. He may be small but that tiny cat was as lethal as they can get! And together the three was a force that could take down just about anything!
I know it took a bit for this second book to come ,and there was a change in the writing team, but this book was as fantastic as the first and I am looking forward to many more. I know the rhino shifters must be next but I really need Rocco’s (the eagle shifter that works at the club) story too.
