REVIEW:
Let me start with saying I read “Sweet as Pie” so I was familiar with Enzo and was absolutely excited to see how the author would write his story.
Matching him with Will was a lovely idea. I have to say I loved their first interaction and it really had me laughing. And that is what set up the rest of the book for me.
It was a nice sweet read, the interactions between town members and side characters is fun to read but also gave me some mixed feelings. I loved to read some Luca and Oliver from Sweet as Pie and would have loved to read some more about them all together. But I have to admit Enzo’s mother really started to bother me a bit.
The way Beth Bolden writes her books is such a joy. It is so comfortable to read and it is a pleasure to pick up her books.
From the moment Will and Enzo meet, you know there is something there and how they set up and go through the “fake” dates for us as a reader you can feel what is happening.
They are very comfortable together and find that there is definitely something growing between them.
It is lovely to read their navigating through their feelings, how to handle their situation with Enzo traveling and Will having his shop.
Like I said before this is a nice, sweet, lovely, drama-free read that I can definitely recommend if you like those kind of books.
Author Beth Bolden is also seriously brilliant in epilogues and bonus scenes which is worth giving an extra mention. It is a wonderful thing to go and find another piece of extra awesomeness 🙂
Let me finish with the fact that I am already super excited to read the new Christmas Falls book by this author because we definitely got hinted on who will be there and I cannot wait to read that story!
