For the evil that lurks is found throughout mankind.
Genie had seen much over his tenuous centuries. Blood, feast, famine, plagues. None of which affected him, yet by the same token, it did. If that makes any sense…
Master’s, he’s had many but loves, only one. Why fate felt now was the right time to grant his heart that was left to be seen.
Raj lost his family at a young age and was left to fend for himself. After the public humiliation and subsequent deaths of his parents, he was shunned by his fellow commoners and had nowhere to turn in a time of need. Though he never went without, he could never explain how or why.
Will Genie and Raj survive his current master and his final wish, or will it be the end for both of them?
There’s more than one kind of happily ever after…
Once upon a time, the prince realized he didn’t want the princess. He wanted his own Prince Charming.
From princes falling in love to the Snow Queen’s heart finally melting for her princess, in these six smoking hot tales, happily ever after comes in every color of the rainbow.
REVIEW:
Although I’m not usually a fairytale fan (yes, I know that there are HEA’s but they gave me nightmares as a child) TL Travis did a fabulous job recreating this one with a special twist!
Something went terribly wrong when the maker made a grave error. Genie was born into a life of servitude and his maker perished that same night. On yet another tour of duty with the evil and increasingly mentally unstable Maharajah, Genie promises that he will watch out for the young son of a mom and dad that are beheaded for stealing a loaf of bread to feed their starving family. But when Raj grows into a beautiful young man Genie realizes that he has “caught feelings” for the boy. But how do you explain that not only have you been watching over him for years but have fallen for him in the process?
The gruesome act of beheading someone, on a whim, and leaving a young lad an orphan is why I am not usually a fan of fairytales. However, the interactions and love that develops between Genie/Daddy and Raj/boy was sweet and poignant. Genie had all the riches he could accumulate from his years. However he longs for two things, the love and companionship of this wonderful boy and the freedom from his life of servitude.
If you are a fan of fairytales and enjoy an MM twist then these stories are a perfect fit.
