A rockstar with a tainted reputation. A shy, sensitive farmer. A magical ten days on the seas of the South Pacific.
Axel Zelman
Stepping in to protect my younger brother was a no-brainer. Now I have to pay the consequences and repair my tarnished reputation. That means facing my demons and spending ten days at sea on a cruise ship. At least it’s for a good cause.
Kyle Brown
Thanks to my interfering family, I’m thrust into a world of extravagance and dazzling spectacle. I’d much rather be at home in the vineyard. That is, until I find an undeniable connection with a gorgeous, brooding passenger. Imagine my surprise when I find out he’s an award-winning performer. Why on earth would he want to spend time with me?
It’s only a cruise, a bit of fun, not a life commitment, and as my brother said—we’re not here for a long time, but a good time—so I’m determined to enjoy the limited time we have. I just wish my heart got the message.
Sun-Kissed is a sweet and sexy story where two worlds collide in an opposites attract, celebrity/ordinary guy, rockstar romance set amongst the fun and chaos of a Pride Cruise.
Sun-Kissed is part of Pride Cruise 2024!
Where the water is crisp, the men are HOT, and the party has started! Each book is a standalone but feel free and dive in and binge them all. You won’t want to miss a second of their naughty antics. If you think they’re silly when the sun is up, just wait until it goes down.
REVIEW:
I love Nic Starr books and this one really spoke to me.
Alex Zelman, aka the famous musician Zelman, was just trying to protect his younger brother Rick from more problems. The boy was only 18 after all and their worthless druggie mother hadn’t been any kind of role model for sure. Heck, they didn’t even know who fathered his baby brother! But taking the fall for Rick came at a huge price. His stance on No To Drugs and being an anti-drug spokesman took a real hit and has tarnished his reputation. So, in order to start helping fix that, he begrudgingly agrees to perform on a Pride Cruise. Little did he know that his life is about to change in a huge way!
Kyle was such a sweet heart and anyone would be lucky to have the shy hottie beside them. What I loved most was that he didn’t expect anything and Alex could just be himself. Kyle was the quintessential good guy. Dependable, hard-working, loved his family and their vineyard. And I loved that his brother and sister-in-law recognized that he needed this cruise and to get away. That he needed to be pushed to try something new for him.
This seems to be a new sub-genre for me. Rock Stars that love to write their music and perform in small venues over large concerts after the fame and stress get to be too much. They love the writing and performing their art but have grown tired or leery of the aggressive fans and their lack of boundaries. Like they are entitled to the star because they are a fan and pay to go see them preform. And don’t get me started on the paparazzi. Yes, stardom does have a price. But it has gone further than that. That the star owes their fans for their love and support. That they aren’t entitled to time to be just themselves when off work. It’s just not right. But as we move forward with technology it just seems to get more and more evasive.
I am really enjoying this year’s Pride Cruise and look forward to more in this great series. Heartwarming book that will get you right in the feels. You can’t help but fall in love with Kyle and Axel.
