REVIEW:
I truly enjoy Tony Wise’s novellas that have me learning about all kinds of paranormal and supernatural beings. I have literally never read about a banshee so I was truly excited to learn more. Let me tell you, as always, this did not disappoint!
Casper is the next cousin up to find his spark, and hopefully, 🤞 if he’s lucky, his true mate at the same time as his previous cousins did with their Grandmother’s magical compass. But who is going to want a jokester virgin like him as their familiar or as a mate?
Casper was so sweet but holy moly did he figure out sex was good really fast. He had no need to worry that he wasn’t enough for a mate. Good thing Zeke has a sense of humor and a great deal of stamina to keep up with the cuddly lion shifter/familiar. But what I loved most was that Casper showed Zeke that he doesn’t have to hide who he is from those that love him most. They will accept him because of who he is, not what he is. And Casper loves him completely. But when he explained to Zeke that their baby could be a banshee just as easily as a familiar and would he be ashamed of their child… that did it for me. That was the perfect way to get Zeke to finally accept himself and embrace his being. It was obvious that these two loved each other and were the perfect mare chosen just for them by Lady Fate.
I can’t wait to hear both Harbor and Bently’s stories! Watch out who ever gets Harbor as their mate because he’s a live wire for sure!
