When Symon takes over Shiftr Inc, he reminds himself that while he might be a corporate raider, he’s not an uncivilized wolf. Which is why when he meets tech expert Adrian, his response surprises him.
Adrian is okay with being a lone wolf who’s good at code and who has a Pallas cat for a bestie. Really. He never has needed other wolves. So when he meets the new boss, he’s shocked at how close he wants to get.
The two of them have to band together to fight both a threat to the company and to their new relationship, and deal with Symon’s meddling brothers at the same time. Can they prove that it okay to be a werewolf knight in shining armor?
REVIEW:
Okay, this series was even better than I hoped. I have love Minerva’s Dragon series. They are what drew me to her originally when the books were offered for review. So I knew I would like her other shifter books. This one did not disappoint.
Symon is a corporate raider. Yes he’s a werewolf shifter but he is civilized and doesn’t need to react to his baser wolf urges. He can do his yoga and center himself to act as the responsible human he is also. He can control himself. He’s not like most of his pack. But, when at his newest company acquisition, Shiftr Inc. gets together for a meet and greet with his new employees, he witnesses a bully taking on two omegas. His alpha protection takes over and he puts himself between the two smaller men and the instigator. But firing Carl, and a few of his fellow bullies, has resulted in some questionable things suddenly going on. Symon knows he needs both men under protection until he gets to the bottom of this corporate espionage He sets his best personal security manager Cy to help with the Pallas Cat omega but he’s personally taking care of Adrian, the omega wolf shifter. Something just draws him to the smaller tech geek. But when he becomes aware that Adrian is his mate there’s no holding him back from protecting what is his!
*fans myself** Symon going all Alpha was so hot. He knew what Adrain was and he made sure that Adrian, his true mate, was his first priority. And he wasn’t putting anyone at risk. So he called in his big guns to help him immediately when he realized the two omegas were at risk. I loved all the supporting characters that we got introduced to. His two brothers that are fiercely protective of their big brother and Cy respects Symon and who he is and what he stands for. And Adrian!!! I loved that he might be a smaller omega wolf but he knew how to stand up for himself and protect those that were important to him. His standing up to that slimy Carl not once but twice really catapulted him in my eyes. He is definitely a worthy and perfect mate for Symon.
I have read a lot of wolf shifter books. I haven’t heard them referred to as Werewolves in most my wolf omegaverse stories but I loved how protective that Symon and his family/pack was of their omegas. I really look forward to both of his brother’s stories but especially Quin’s. He is protective of omegas and, if I read it right, he is an omega also. Not sure of Rian’s status. But we know oldest brother Symon is an all protective Alpha to the extreme. And he is set to take over as Pack Alpha someday from his Dad. But I really hope we get more of Symon and Adrian’s story. I’m sure pups are in the future for those two. Even Stan, whom I love so far, eluded to their future children now that Symon and Adrian are mated. I love that Symon is also very protective of Stan and worries about how things will affect him. But I think, now that Symon has given him a safe place in the world, and allowed him to heal bit physically and mentally from his attack and turning, that Stan is much stronger than Symon thinks. I see him as a key player possibly in the future. And I bet he will be a fierce protector of future pups. I also want more of Cy and, if I’m not mistaken, his connection with the sweet omega bestie of Adrian’s Issac.
Great start to what is rounding out to be an exciting new series that I can’t wait for more!
