I’d worked hard to earn my degree so when my best friend suggested we treat ourselves to a cruise for graduation, I felt like I’d earned it
Fun, sun, and a good drink package… what more could a boy want other than maybe a Daddy of his own?
Adam
I hadn’t taken a vacation since I couldn’t remember when, so when my loving but interfering sister gifted me a cruise for my birthday, what could I do but accept? Of course, she chose well and picked a special cruise being hosted by a local kink dating app.
Worst case, I could swim, read, and maybe find a boy to play with for the week.
This story features Daddy/boy mixers, a young man just striking out on his own, an older man who is ready to settle down, swimming with dolphins, some serious insta-love, sisters who know everything, friends who just want you to be happy, and two men who find out sometimes what was only meant to last for the week lasts a lifetime.
*Cruising for a Daddy was orginally published in the 2022 Pride anthology. The only change to this book is the addition of an epilogue.*
REVIEW:
This is a sweet, insta love Daddy /Boy , age-gap novella with no littles or age play , that was an enjoyable short read. Interestingly the holiday they are on is a Cuff’d Daddy / Boy one, for those of you that have read other books in that multi-author universe.
Ollie has managed to finish university, get his degree and squirrel away enough to go on a kinky cruise with best friend Carey. He doesn’t currently have a job lined up when he gets back and is going to be moving out of his dorm accommodation to share Carey’s apartment until he gets a job and his own place.
Adam is a workaholic , never taking any time off from the family business, never having time to find for that someone special, for a boy of his own. His sister Harper and her wife Bree take matters into their own hands and book him onto a Cuff’d holiday, joining him on the cruise to make sure he actually goes.
When the pair see each other at the sail away party their eyes meet, but then Ollie thinks Adam is with his girlfriend/wife. Imagine their surprise and delight when they see each other again at the Cuff’d meet & great event.
We do find out a little about Oliver & Adams back stories enough to see what led them to where they are now .Jacki James has managed to tell a very happy short story, with a plot that covers a week that didn’t contain any unnecessary drama or twists and quite frankly made me have a content little smile on my face whilst I read it and after I finished it. I have just realised I have that little smile on my face whilst thinking about it now as I sit and write this review a day later. It is like a modern fairy tale, with sex, boy meets daddy and they live happy ever after.
