Five men, one love story.
None of them knew how many pieces they were missing until they all slotted into place.
Jericho thinks his life is complete, and that he doesn’t need anyone else. Quinn is sure he can never get back what he’s lost. Will wants to be a piece of someone’s heart, the hero of their story. Peyton fights his nightmares alone, struggling against the tide, his own dark thoughts an anchor. Sebastian’s hardened heart keeps him from letting anyone else in, too afraid to be hurt again.
Now real happiness, together, is within their grasp. Everything might be perfect if it weren’t for the man who wants all of their heads and won’t stop until he has them. It will take everything the five men have to reach for their happily ever after.
When the worst happens and their precarious foundation crumbles around them, is the love they weren’t prepared for going to be enough to keep them together… and alive?
Cohesion is the third and final book in the Chain Reaction trilogy, an MMMMM romantic suspense series. It is not a standalone and follows the same five men and their relationship. It ends in a satisfying HEA.
It contains adult situations, gun use, suspense themes, a character with on-page PTSD, and more. The full list can be found inside the book.
REVIEW:
One of the things that I particularly love about this series is that Author Aurora Crane never rushed their story. It fell together organically and at its own pace. What was particularly poignant was that these men weren’t perfect but each a missing piece of the puzzle that made each whole together. I loved watching them learn to trust and then fall in love. They all had back stories that made them who they are. They are so beautiful on the surface but have such deep, gapping scars within. By the end of this series you see that they are learning how to have those scars finally heal. But the road to that healing and the trust and love they found was not easy but so worth it. Quinn stated it best at the end in his thoughts “Even if he could somehow turn back time and fix what had gone wrong, he wasn’t sure that he would. It had led them here, and he couldn’t regret the path they’d taken if this was the outcome.”
I know this is the end of this particular series but know it won’t be the last that we see of these amazing men. Most of Aurora Crane’s book series’ are based in this universe and the characters are interconnected either through family or work. But that being said, it’s going to be hard not to be in these characters lives I have become so connected to and see them continue to grow. I feel deeply in love with these five men that had become real to me and wanted them to have the HEA they so wanted and deserved. They earned it through trial and error, and blood, sweat and tears. And they all grew through the process.
I need to state that this is definitely not a stand alone. You really need to read this entire series in order. Each book picks up where the last one left off. And this is the conclusion to all five men’s story and the criminals that are after their own. And you will be thankful that you did. This is a story of hope and love of men that didn’t think that was possible but were shown vividly that it was and they deserved it. This is a huge thumbs up for me and one of my Best of 2024 Books of the Year for sure! 💕
