He smiles. “May I hug you? If you don’t like it, just tell me and I’ll stop.”
To my surprise, I nod in agreement, curious to discover what will happen.
Vash pulls me into an embrace and at first it’s a little awkward, mostly because of me. My natural reaction to just about anyone but Max is to automatically stiffen, but unlike the usual, my tension doesn’t last long and I start to melt into his big, warm body. I even wrap my arms around his waist, just under the base of his wings, and return the hug.
Now that’s another new one for me—initiating touch like that.
I can’t seem to stop myself as I reach one arm up and pet his beautiful biceps. Touching him is far more enjoyable than I could have imagined. While the muscles are certainly a draw, it’s the added fact that his skin doesn’t bother me the way it would with a human.
When he rescued me and held me in his arms, it wasn’t a fluke. I like Vash’s touch.
Gazing down into my eyes with his own blue ones that seem to possess an ethereal glow in the dark, Vash’s voice goes dark and smoky but his accompanying grin is full of teasing mischief. “Are you trying to tempt me, sweetheart?”
I swallow thickly. “Sorry, I should have asked if I could feel up your arm.My bad.”
He chuckles and lightly strokes the short claws on his fingers down the side of my neck, which sends a jolt of white-hot desire straight to my cock and I gasp.
“Oh, I enjoyed it very much. You can ‘feel me up’ any time you’d like.”
