Some call us spoiled.
Some call us trouble.
But everyone calls us the Park Avenue Princes.Daire Connery
“The Bad Boy”I’m not a man of many words. But when I do speak, it usually starts with F and ends with you.
Keep to myself. Don’t let anyone in. That’s how I like it.
That’s usually how everyone else likes it too. My scowl keeps them all away—all except him.We may both be Park Avenue Princes, but we would never work.
We don’t belong in each other’s real worlds.
He’s too soft for mine; mine’s too harsh for his.But I can’t stop thinking about him. About those pale grey eyes that see right through me. The ballsy way he gives right back whatever I dish out.
I like that. Respect it.
Want more of it…
Which is why when I find out his ex is bullying him, it makes me want to rip that bastard a new one. Makes me lose my goddamn mind.
Because no one touches Gavin Truitt. No one but me.
Possessive Park Avenue Prince is the fourth standalone novel in the Park Avenue Princes world.
REVIEW:
Let me start by saying it took me a bit to get into this book. It is not easy to form a connection with especially Daire but it also had me so intrigued because I really wanted to.
And gosh was I glad I pushed through!
Because this book seriously only got better and better during reading and “flipping” the pages.
The title is perhaps the most accurate one so far because possesive is Daire’s middle name, you could say.
You cannot deny there is some great chemistry between Daire and Gavin, something the authors already hinted at in the former books.
We go along for their ride, seeing Daire struggle against that attraction, seeing Gavin’s persistance in winning him over and especially find out more little by little why Daire is who he is.
You cannot deny the sexiness from these men, both in their own way. Throw in the opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine angle and you are set.
Yes there were some things I just don’t feel fit the bill. There is a revenge plot in there that is just too much over the top and parts of it would have been enough, so to speak. But to me the over all story and the bonding between these two men overshadow the little points I didn’t prefer.
For me personally I loved the little bit darker angle in this one. I like the less then perfect Daire, his grumpiness and I loved the “so called” innocence of sunshiny Gavin.
I absolutely love how the authors bring back all the princes because despite the main story being able to standalone, I love the interconnection between them all.
This book was a glorious read and if I am honest, from the struggle to get into the story to the following of both their paths to a wonderful satisfying and loving ending, definitely worth while.
Two princes left so let’s get on it!
