Tyler Jones is celebrating hitting his mid-thirties with a new job and it’s unlike anywhere he’s ever worked before. Pleasure Seekers is an sex toy retail company based in the seaside resort of Brighton.
On his first day, Tyler finds himself in a very sticky situation with the drop-dead gorgeous Danny Healy. This man is next-level handsome. When Danny offers to help Tyler become personally acquainted with some of the items the company sells online, the heat truly blasts off.
But Tyler has never been one for meaningless sex. When he gets to know Danny, he finds so much more than he ever expected. What could happen if the lines of their arrangement were blurred a little?
Trigger warning – discussion of historical emotional struggles and attempted suicide.
“Is this too sluttish? To have a guy over on my first night here?”
Tyler furiously pumped up the double airbed, sweat coursing off his brow.
“Relax,” Scott said as he stood in the doorway with a glass of wine. “I clocked that kiss. If you hadn’t, I would have thrown you out before you’d even properly moved in. I’ll take Eddie out for dinner down the road.”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course. You’ll get used to me having the odd visitor over.”
“More of a steady stream from what Eddie says.”
“Ha,” Scott said. “Even Eddie has been known to bring some unfortunate home occasionally. You’ll find them doing a Buddhist chant in the dining room. Anyway, we’re a free environment here, love.”
“Thank fuck he had an errand to run,” Tyler said, wheezing. “Imagine if I’d had to do this in front of him.”
“Let me have a go,” Scott said, crossing the room.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, you’re getting sweaty and you don’t have time for a shower. Well, not on your own anyway.”
Scott gently moved Tyler out of the way and started pumping.
“Are you wearing that?” he asked, giving Tyler a once-over.
“I’m not getting changed when he’s already seen me,” Tyler replied. “Anyway, what’s wrong with me?”
Scott shrugged. “I guess it’ll be a crumpled mess on the floor in no time.”
“Cheeky sod.”
“There’s a bottle of prosecco in the fridge,” Scott said. “Replace it tomorrow.”
“Thank you, Scott. Honestly. This is so good of you.”
Scott winked. “Like Eddie said before. You’re one of us now.”
The doorbell rang and Tyler nearly jumped out of his skin.
“Go on,” Scott said. “I’m nearly done. We want it nice and firm.”
“Shut up.”
Tyler raced out of the room and down the stairs. He opened the door to find a grinning Danny.
God, that smile.
“You gave me your real address then,” Danny said. “That’s good.”
“Of course I bloody did. Come in.”
He let Danny in. They were squeezed together in the little entrance at the bottom of the stairs.
“It’s up here,” Tyler said.
Danny grabbed him by the waist. “What if I can’t wait that long?”
Danny’s lips were on his. The last time, Tyler had been sitting down. Danny pressed up against him almost made Tyler’s legs give way. They kissed hard. Danny squeezed Tyler’s arse. Tyler felt Danny’s hard-on through his jeans.
We need to get those off immediately.
I have written for as long as I could write. In fact, before, when I would dictate to my auntie. I love to read, and I love to create worlds and characters.
I live in the English countryside. When I’m not writing, I like to get out there and think through the next scenario I’m going to throw my characters into.
Inspiration can be found anywhere, on a train, in a restaurant or in an office. I am always in search of the next character to find love in one of my stories. In a world of apps and online dating, it is important to remember love can be found when you least expect it.
