I can’t believe it’s been ten years since Elizabeth Noble and I created our Sleepless City world. The original series of four books were published in 2014, and the 2nd editions came out in 2020. We had a lot of fun discussing our characters, and building our world, and although the series’ arc is complete, there are still stories to tell.
Our spin off series have gone in different directions, although our characters still keep in touch and pop into each other’s stories.
I’ve relocated Simon and Ben to New Zealand, as we need more urban fantasy/paranormal set here, with their spin off book Double Exposure being the first of a new series of adventures. As with The Sleepless City books, these are mystery/detective paranormals.
The other spin off series I’m writing are still paranormal and take place in this world but have a different feel to them. Kedgetown is small town paranormal cozy, while Kiwi Psi, as the title suggests focuses on psi powers, although there are cross overs between the three, and connections between characters.
Between Elizabeth and I, we now have 9 books set in our world.
I love how our series has grown into a shared world, and brought in new characters and ideas. If you want to learn more about The Sleepless City and its spin offs, visit our Facebook group, and website.
The Sleepless City series ebooks are on sale this month for $2.99. They’ll be going up to their new price of $5.99 at the end of the month, so this is a great time to grab them if you haven’t read the series, and where it all began.
A found family of supernaturals protects humanity from the stuff of nightmares.
Boggslake, Ohio, might look like a normal city on the surface, but an unseen war is being fought away from the eyes of most of the population.
From their stronghold, Boggs’s Castle, an eclectic team of vampires, werewolves, and other supernaturals fight to keep humanity safe from the things that go bump in the night. More than a team, these men grow into a family, and they’ll need to rely on each other’s strength, because their true enemy is deadlier than they could’ve ever imagined.
