LENGTH: 116 pages
RELEASE DATE: February 27, 2024
BLURB:
Two hearts overflowing with secret love buried under the cover of friendship.
Declan has given up hope of finding his fated mate. He spent ten years in Metro City hoping the wolf chosen for him by fate would cross his path. It wasn’t to be. Now, he lives in Riverton Township after taking over as the leader of the pack when his brother, Mark stepped down. Declan might as well be living in the middle of nowhere. How will a fated mate find him now?
Patrick has one true love. Their lives are intertwined after over twenty years of friendship. He’s decided his love will remain hidden. There’s too much at risk if he was to say anything. The most important thing to him is to keep the wolf he loves and their family in his life.
Tyler is extremely close with the triplets he whelped six years ago, seeing them at least twice a week, his best friend by his side. As two Omegas, they’ve built a life together without Alphas. Tyler wants to embrace the wolf he loves for all eternity, but he doesn’t want to ruin that wolf’s chances of one day finding a fated mate and having pups of his own.
Can these three hearts find their way to each other or will fear and doubt lead them astray?
REVIEW:
I’m back in Creekside Township with my favorite wolves and couldn’t be happier!
Patrick and Tyler have been best friends for as long as they can remember. When coming-of-age came they became best friends/w benefits along with being work mates. Everyone is suspicious that there is much more between the two omegas but don’t pry. Well there was that time that Logan went into the office and they had forgot to lock the door but that was never spoken of again. What happens behind closed doors in their office at Creekside Motors stays behind closed doors. But Patrick will always be the one for Tyler no matter what. Whether Tyler is a surrogate for their good friend/employee and needs his Patrick by his side or the camaraderie of working together for so many years Patrick has not only supported Tyler but has been secretly in love since they were young. But now that Patrick has found his fated mate what is to happen next?
Writing this review was tougher than the others. Not because of the book’s content but of the discovery that this is the last book in the series. I have become invested in the small community of Creekside Township and it’s two pack of wolves. Then Riverton Township was incorporated into the stories and these three wolf packs have learned, though time (and some bloodshed) how to not only exist in the same area but to support and thrive together. I am moderately surprised that Patrick, Tyler and Declan had never even got a whiff of each other. I know that Mark and Declan weren’t close but Declan had been back in Riverton for over 7 years and you would have thought he would a got a whiff of his fated mate somehow during all that time from some kind of contact transfer. It was on the papers that they sent into him as their tax accountant.
I will say that this book seemed to move faster than the others. That may have seemed that way because I didn’t want this series to close though. And I realize that fated mates work fast. I was perplexed at first over the “scenting” that both Tyler and Declan were doing when returning Patrick to the other. But that resulted in an amusing and lust-filled series of events. I was surprised that Declan, who had searched for his fated mate for years, was so willing to share Patrick. But even that worked out well for Declan in the end. And I did like that the author included so many wolves and their mates in the epilogue.
If you haven’t read this series I highly recommend that you start with book one and read in order. Each deals with a different set of wolf mates but lead you to the next story. I’m going to miss my visits with Creekside Township and the wonderful wolves who live there.
