Harlan, at the age of nineteen, is enjoying his reckless youth. Most weekends find him crawling home after being out with his friends partying and drinking. Now that his brother, Reese, is no longer living in the same house with him, and they no longer run a business together, Harlan is having to navigate his life as an Alpha male on his own in the East Creekside pack.
Logan has been traveling for the past month, heading for what he hopes is a new life. His insistence about being an Alpha despite his Omega scent was never accepted by his pack. They finally chased him out after he had no success giving his Omega mate a pup. He’s heard that the West Creekside pack is looking for a motorcycle mechanic. This time around, at the age of forty, Logan decides he isn’t going to push the fact he’s an Alpha.
Neither expected to find their fated mates in each other. Their age difference is an issue. Will they be able to overcome the multiple obstacles and embrace their destiny?
Author’s Note This is Book 5 in the Creekside Township Rivals series. If you haven’t read Book 1, you can find Lucas’ Omega on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. They must be read in order. This book is about wolf shifters. Men and women will shift into wolves and back again. The male/male couplings will engage in knotting during human-form sex, whereby the alpha’s cock will sometimes swell at the base before ejaculation. This is an MPreg story. The omega wolf shifter males in this story can become pregnant and give birth anally. And they do in this story. There is also nipple and lactation play in this book. REVIEW:
On of the huge things I love about this series an JT’s writing is that each story has its own uniqueness. This story proved it even more and I loved it. 💕
We first met Harlan through Reese’s story. Harlan was the much younger brother of Reese that he was left to be raised by his big brother where their parents (sire and carrier) left them at East Creekside because Harlan had shifted and was old enough to fend for himself. Thankful Reese is a caring omega that took charge of raising his younger Alpha brother. Harlan is protective of his big brother. They had worked side by side making Armstrong Plumbing the successful plumbing business it is. But, with all that has happened to Reese it was now going to have to merger with Mark, Reese mate’s plumbing company Cooper Plumbing. And Harlan gets it but doesn’t have to like it. When he learns that West Creekside’s Creekside Service just hired a seasoned motorcycle mechanic his day was turning around. The bike he picked up a bit ago needs some magic and a bit of TLC. He’s hopeful that this new rival pack member can make that happen. But what he didn’t anticipate was the much older wolf shifter to be his fated mate. But he is confused when he is instantly rejected. Can a 19 year old virgin Alpha who is still out goofing off on his free time and a 39 year old omega that identifies as an Alpha with some issues really work?
I think that Harlan captured my heart in ways I never imagined. Because of his past he is a much older soul but still an inexperienced Alpha with a lot of life to learn. Logan’s story was truly unique and added the new twist that made this story completely different. As I stated earlier, that’s why I love this series so much. You never know what kind of twist the writer is going to throw at her wolves and how they will land on their paws. I loved that she had Harlan and Logan looking into options to grow their family once they both embraced their mating and its uniqueness. I am going to need Tyler and Patrick’s story very soon. They absolute made this story for me. And I know there’s a great story just waiting about them and they deserve their own HEA for their kindness and generosity.
This book and series has captured my heart and my grabby hands keeps wanting more. I can’t wait for the next book in this wonderful and unique series!
